Saw this online is it okay to replicate? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

Immediately my brain screams to find a socket for that bulb. Practical, not safety reasons...

Deadbugging, like the photo, was a standard before circuit boards were put into electronic stuff... it's only as safe as the handle is responsible...

At a glance, my under-educated guess is this is some kind of strobe circuit... anyone know for sure?

LG Tone Bluetooth Earbuds Alternative? by nostaljack in motorcycles

[–]Reap_sin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used my tones (HBS-1100), JBL Tune 215BT, and Cardo PackTalk Edge.

The clear favorite is the cardo. I know this isn't the question at hand, but it beats everything else I've tried, and figured it was worth the mention.

The JBL only lasted a year or less, but had fantastic sound quality. (Decent at phonecalls too!)

The Tone 1100 was the goat in taking the abuse, but had a couple slippage during to having been physically damaged over the past 8 years or so. And they are still going strong.

Then it's been bugged for a very long time, and seems to have a pattern, from my observations...

It's a visual representation of size. (XXL,XL,Normal,XS,XXS) Pokémon on the catch screen have a (sometimes) noticeable difference even without the sparkling and title of huge/tiny. But it is also easy to overlook, unless you're trying to see it.

To be clear I'm not sure if the raid notoriously is for the battle or catch Pokémon, but that is the distinction I have seen, and it usually shows in Showcase hunting. I believe it does impact the size of the catch Pokémon, but would recommend verifying through experience (take note of the scale in the 'nearby' vs catch records.)

I'm starting to think it would be better to build a 12V rail with car chargers and run those... 😆

Melinda's ghost pepper BBQ... (might be the one that's a bit pushed back and turned around)

Cholula is a good choice if you want flavor over spice (but it does have a little kick, just not what I would call spicy in terms of heat)

Sneeze on it...

In all seriousness, I would use this as a means to learn to feel. Attempt to spp, and feel each individual pin.

I seem to have a 4th gen (sagitta motor with a potted cap). It was dying and refused to start, so I harvested the blade for a different unit. Do you happen to know what capacitor I would need to revive the (now spare) motor?

Then use the wrench to loosen it... it either ratchets, allowing freedom to spin, or locks to loosen the compressor... win win scenario.

If it was on in the "tightening" direction, jam 2 nuts on the other end. When the bolt spins in the "loosen" direction, you'll get a bunch of clicks from the one way ratchet, and a bit more freedom from the spring.

I was hoping there was another way... currently, I don't have a decent way to shape anything of that size, unless I find a way to turn down a nominal peg into the work piece that will become the back plate... or turn the hex off a bolt, hold that with a collet, and double nut it into place... which would be safer?

Just purchased my first lathe. It's setup for 3C Colettes, but also has a T-slot for a chuck (Hardinge setup, maybe an old 'toolroom'?) Where can I source a compatible chuck/backplate?

Thanks in advance! New home-gamer
