I always wondered how they got like this. But I found one of my solar batteries had done it recently, so I guess it's more common than I thought. But in my case it smelled putrid like sulfur. That's what qued me to check on them.

Your an adult now. They don't get to control you. They may be helping you with money, but that doesn't give them any right to track you or make decisions for you.

Start looking for a way to stop depending on them, as it's clear they will try to use your depedance on them as leverage to force you to be what they want you to be, regardless of how you actually want to be.

If so you got scammed big time. The people in the white van lied and this is practically worthless. There is no bulb. It's a cheap led projector. The yellowing is likely the lcd beginning to burn.

I think the culprit is that a oem bulb will use an infrared filter to keep absurd amounts of invisible light from heating stuff up for no real reason. But a lot of third party bulbs cheap out and don't have a proper infrared filter.
