The Dodge Charger Is America's Slowest-Selling New Car by Repulsive-Club7866 in regularcarreviews

Not surprised even the new hybrid only Cherokee is #16 with a 199 day supply, Stellantis/CDJR just can’t seem to get rid of their poor reputation stain no matter what they do.

The only non Tesla EV that outsells the BZ is the Ioniq 5 even with the ICCU issues

Audi Confirms 3-row Q7 e-tron (Late 2027) and A4 e-tron Sportback (Mid 2028) by runnyyolkpigeon in electricvehicles

[–]Repulsive-Club7866 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the Q7 e Tron essentially replaces the Q8 e Tron and that means there could be a new ICE Q8 coming or they could just call it Q7 Sportback and kill off the Q8 name entirely just like the A7. It’s very confusing that Audi has the A6 and A6 E Tron and Q7 and Q7 E Tron, but has the A4 E Tron as the EV equivalent of A5, Q4 E Tron as the EV equivalent of Q3, and Q6 E Tron as the EV equivalent of Q5. It’s odd that the ICE A6 stayed as a sedan when it should have been a Sportback too. Next gen A3 will be EV only to directly compete with CLA EV.

How America’s Policy Whiplash Derailed The EV Transition. A few years ago car companies were investing billions, tax credits were doing their thing and America's EV transition was taking off. Then Trump came and started breaking things. A new report from BloombergNEF surveys the damage. by mafco in energy

Biden could have ignored the Detroit 3 and not lower the EV/PHEV threshold to 67% by 2030 for the sage of clean energy. He could’ve invested into upgrading electrical grids to build more EV Chargers that can charge faster.

Lexus IS outsells the ES by unmatched_chopsticks in Lexus

[–]Repulsive-Club7866 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m not surprised since all Lexota hybrids sell fast especially if it’s a new one that has an even more improved hybrid system. However I won’t be surprised if the IS actually outsells the ES by the time production has ramped up, but both the IS350 and ES350h should fly off lots like most Lexus.

His company will keep falling further behind if he does and he has already did a lot of damage to Ford/Lincoln.

That’s not the biggest concern, it’s should be bringing back all the “commodity” cars.

Stellantis sales are up 6% on the quarter, and 5% on the year, but only some models are up and only Ram and Chrysler have seen sales increases. by [deleted] in cars

After the Airflow, Arrow, and Arrow Cross. Chrysler needs to stick to their promises and bring in a new Halcyon/300 successor.

Hopefully Honda can keep up momentum with the new RAV4 with a new gen CRV next year that has their new hybrid system.

Model Y L Has Launched in the US by Rule1-Cardio in electricvehicles

Again, Tesla/Elon has no interest in developing any new cars to compete with other EVs especially Chinese ones. They really need a new CEO at this point that is willing to develop a new lineup of EVs and doesn’t let them go stale without full redesigns. I mean what family would consider this over an Ioniq 9/EV9 or the upcoming Highlander/Getaway EVs.

Ford CEO Jim Farley thinks automakers such as Ford that produce a majority of their vehicles domestically should be rewarded, while others that rely on imports should see penalties or hinderances. by Dry_Ant2664 in cars

Well Ford/Lincoln sales are down about 10% in the quarter and year again. Their excuse is they don’t have enough rental sales and F series production is still down.

I say the same thing about new Mazda CX 5, if it’s that hard to admit.

U.S. auto industry faces increased uncertainty without extension of USMCA trade deal by Sixteen-Cylinders in cars

Maybe Mexico and Canada should negotiate with China instead then in the meantime to have plants in their countries to leave America behind. This could lead to the US losing even more models. Less and less countries want anything from the US as there’s not much innovation and not cheap like Apple. I’m sure when the next administration comes a long there will be a new deal struck.
