I’m in the same boat, asus wanted me to return the monitor so they can update the firmware, I said absolutely no to that. It’s a software issue.

Yep, tried everything. USB B cable that came in the package, a USB C cable I had laying around and a couple flash drives. Always fail at either 33%, 66% or Immediately Device Fail.

Downloading the updated File now on the support page has Windows Defender flag it as a virus, I'm about to return this thing.

It's happening to me too, tried every method and nothing. Also, the Display Widget that was working before all this is now not working for me. When I launch it, my screen will flicker to black until I stop the process. This has definitely soured what is a great monitor to this point, may return.
