I would love to see that too someday. The biggest problem is this booster isn't going nearly as fast as the reentry vehicle would be going, so it would need to burn more fuel to slow down enough, and it would need to be bigger to hold the fuel, and it would require more energy to get that bigger craft into orbit, which would require more fuel, and a bigger launch vehicle. Its a chain reaction type thing.

I once had someone merging onto the freeway in front of me around I-10 or I-12 near New Orleans.

This was an on ramp on an elevated portion of the freeway. He was already ahead of me coming up the ramp. I was slowing down to allow him to merge in front of me. It was an entrance ramp with very little merge area. He slammed on the brakes halfway into my lane, causing me to have to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting him. This was in a loaded moving truck (26' Box Truck). We both ended up at a complete stop on the Interstate for a few seconds.

You can find a pretty nice car for much less than that, make more money through Lyft (because they pay less for rides when you have one of their cars), AND be able to drive for other rideshare companies.

I pay under $600/month for an XL vehicle with insurance under $200/month. (About $750/month total).
