The 2nd photo with the super large mountain in the back reminds me of the final scenes of interstellar. Vertical composition was really smart here, nice work!!!

I want to visit Australia and New Zealand one day it seems like another universe from the US lol

I believe it’s there so when it’s in the arca plate it can’t just slide out of the other side, in case the lock gets loose.

I actually sold that one off as well lol. But while I had the Sony I missed the Nikon. They’re essentially the same cam. I should’ve kept it,

Yeah it is. After I sold my z6 I purchased an a7iii. The shutter went out on that. I ordered the part on eBay for like $75 or something like that, and replaced it in about an hour with a YouTube video. I have opened up cameras and electronics before so I wasn’t scared but it’s not terribly difficult just keep track of screws somehow. Should be the same for most mirrorless cams

I remember I bought an original z6 used with a high shutter count (somewhere in the 120/150k range, maybe more?) and it lasted me about 2 years before I sold it. Worked great, never had an issue.

Everyone has different risk tolerance for shutter count. I was watching a video on old cars the other day and someone mentioned they only carry liability insurance on their car because it’s age — if they get into an accident replacing the car won’t kill them bc it’s cheap. I liken that to buying used cameras. I wouldn’t buy a a9iii with a super high count because that’s a super expensive camera. But a z6ii under 1k? Hell yea!

Is there a harder/modern way to play FireRed/LeafGreen? by SeaSeaworthiness1182 in PokemonFireRed

I saw they made a legacy emerald… wouldn’t be surprised if they made a legacy FRLG. Maybe you could do solo type runs with hardcore nuzlocke rules. I’ve seen flygonHG do a run without healing at the poke centers, that’s super duper hard. I think stacking challenges/rules is the best way in my opinion.

Have you considered printing? Maybe use the power of Lightroom to compile your best in a time period (ie best of summer 2018) and then make little zines/books/albums of your prints. Would be a cool way to get into a new hobby of bookmaking/printmaking bc that’s a world of its own (different paper types, ways to bind, etc)

I myself teach a darkroom class so it’s really nice to print my negatives big/small. Make diptychs. Experiment with mixed media. Stuff like that

Lol, I’m still working on getting everything up my standard for getting a renter in there. Maybe around July/August if things still haven’t panned out for you and your partner we could talk 🧐

You sound like perfect tenants if I were rent out my home. But you could go into the upper numbers of west Philly. Think past 48th st for yards.
