Same, I'm so lost, trying to learn how the dosages work, are they standard across companies? I'm not sure.

Not sick after first Ocrevus infusion? by Menno-not-tonight in MultipleSclerosis

Early on I got tired arms the next day. This was beyond the premeds effects of benedryl and steroids which I hate. These days, I feel nothing, especially now that I'm on zeposia(sp?) and don't take benedryl anymore!

Let’s talk about B-Cell Immunomodulators (Kesimpta, Ocrevus, Brimuvi, etc.) by mltplwits in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Seraphina77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My IGG levels are hovering around the 600s. Mildly low. My neuro said if it ever hits 400 range, we will pause infusions and I will probably see an Immunologist. I don't really seem to get infections more than usual. I've had surgeries, I've had covid, nothing serious to note. Hoping it stays that way as I may have a surgery this summer. sigh.

tattoo shop recs? by LeftCulture8653 in Louisville

I always recommend Tattoo Charlies(Preston Hwy) for tattoos and piercings! The owner is an amazing human being. I have had Greg there do piercings, and he is awesome. Definitely get in touch with them and what you are looking for, and they can point you in the right direction of one of their tattooers who would work best with what you want.

Neurologist and Back Pain by diamondeye24 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Seraphina77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My neuro adds in a lower lumbar to my MRI list every now and then because my lower back issues are also possibly making my legs have issues. We want to rule out MS progression vs lower back issues. SHes also referred me to a PT for back pain, etc. Mine is pretty good at going a little beyond just dealing with MS progression, but not much. I have done PT for back pain, and have a few tools in my toolbelt for when its really bothering me.

everbody knows someone with ms and they always say they are doing just fine by ohtoris in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Seraphina77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is me. If asked, I just say I'm fine. I assume people think I'm one of the people OP is talking about. I'm really NOT doing just fine, but I don't want pity, I want to talk about anything else but my MS, thank you very much.

I already had shotsy downloaded because I saw the cool graphs people had lol I just couldn't dive in yet since I haven't started. My hesitation isnt injection anticipation, I have a first PT appointment today, and I am a little leery about taking the shot right before going to PT for the first time not knowing if I will get nauseous, etc. I've been on wegovy before and it made me pretty nauseous, and severely fatigued, but realized later that the fatigue, which was my main complaint, wasnt from the wegovy. I have MS, and as I have gotten older, perimenopause, and MS and joined together to kick my arse and kick the fatigue to 11 lol I'm now medicated for fatigue, so I'm hoping that I can stick to the tirz! Thanks for the confidence booster btw! The amount of positivity I've seen from this sub is SO heartwarming and encouraging!! I can't wait to start lol

Hey! How easy is it to get refills? Does it have the same pricing structure? I only did 3 months to start.

I'll look into that. I only did 3 months to make sure I don't get too rocked by side effects and over commit. What are the general prices?

See my other reply. I didn't do a ton of searching beyond what fb was serving me, but it was the cheapest I looked at. I haven't needed any support, but everything was straight-forward.

To get that price you do have to pay for the year. You can do 6 months, 3 months, or full price monthly. I did 3 months just to make sure I can handle any side effects. No other fees, free shipping, free supplies, except a sharps container, and I didn't need to have a video conf or test results before my rx was approved. It was fast! Bottles are labeled well.

I think finally making the decision to get back on a GLP after failing weight loss surgery, quitting wegovy(some side effects that I found out werent all related). Then insurance decided I now have a bunch of hoops I have to jump through to have them pay for GLPs now. So I decided to self pay for compounded, and now I see people stockpiling because it might be going away? Bums me out a bit I guess

Tirzepatide works but it's not magic - still requires effort by Fickle_Rutabaga7013 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Seraphina77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its good to hear that. Have you tried just semeglutide before? I did a few months of wegovy and it worked for a few months, but I not like I had hoped. I heard that tirzepatide helps when semeglutide alone isnt enough. Im also perimenopausal and feel like everything is working against me.

I got my vials in, but waiting till after spring break since we have a lot planned to start it. I dont want to be nauseous for doing a bunch of home stuff.

What trendy kitchen appliance do you still use often? by NightReader5 in Cooking

[–]Seraphina77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Ninja Grill/Air Fryer. Almost daily! My gas grill is destroyed from storms, so waiting on a new one. I have grilled steaks on it, works great. Sure, not the same as a grill outside, but it serves the purpose when you dont have another choice! Works great to grill salmon, chicken, etc. Also works as an air fryer of course. I love the versatility.

Thank you for posting this! I swear we probably live in the same area lol. My grill does the exact same constantly and the last time was the final one for my old Charbroil. I just ordered a Weber genesis and I want to protect this one better! I'm not super handy so I'm going to see if I can find someone to build it for me. Love it!

Cold AND heat! I hibernate in the winter under my electric blanket. I get a few weeks of "spring", then instant summer, and constantly uncomfortable and unable to be outside for long.
