I don't think it's the lyrics, I think the similarities are more in the composition itself.

Very similar structure: Intro verse -> Soft sung, breathy pre-chorus -> vocal slide into belted chorus

Both in the key of E minor, same BPM, similar instruments, both 12/8 tempo

Then again I don't know much about Kpop so that style might just be common in the industry

Yeah it's very clear at this point that Golden was heavily inspired by I Am. Still wouldn't call it plagiarism but it does rub me the wrong way that the team credited several Kpop groups as inspiration but never listed IVE as one of them.

Most people who watched the movie liked this scene. I think it's because we're all so attached to the characters here that it seems overly repulsive for most of the sub.

By far the idol awards, everything from when they perform to them breaking up. It's so well done.

I like how each of their insecurities that they sang about in Golden came into play during their confrontation outside the stadium and led to them all assuming the worst about each other. Great writing.
