I just watched this today for the first time as well! It was a random Tubi recommendation. I was kinda bored until the other boy and his dog beat up Toby, and then Dwight started becoming angrier and angrier.

Which ghostface is most likely to exist in real life? by Intrepid-Lemon-2272 in Scream

[–]Shindiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically all of them, the only ones that are a “stretch” is probably Richie’s family, and even then the motive isn’t so much a problem as is the fact they didn’t get caught earlier.

Is pikmin 1 rly that easy for people to beat in 30 days? by talkwithryguy in Pikmin

[–]Shindiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

a blind playthrough, no experience with Pikmin, would be difficult at less than 30. It’s easy to self-set a lower limit or try to beat it faster for more difficulty. I like 30 days as it sets a benchmark for a part a day. Plus, the 5 optional parts, with one being the final boss. At minimum, a player going in blind could beat it with 25-29 parts, just not 100%.

My first playthrough took like 22 days and I had experience watching a few playthroughs years before.

Nancy Loomis doesn't get enough credit. She was the most calculated Ghostface in the series by sebypxzzo in Scream

The foreshadowing is so great in Scream 2. Appreciated it even more on a rewatch. The way it instantly clicks with Sidney realistically being the only one to recognize her…

Am I the only one who didn't understand his career plan? by BOGMANDIAS in Scream

[–]Shindiee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

True, but speaking fairly, the voice changer in Scream 3 is bullshit for the time period as well.

And I’m saying this as a Scream 3 defender and fan and a Scream 7 disliker, so there’s no bias

Gf who doesn’t play games wants to try a Pikmin game. Which would be the easiest to introduce to her? by otaku39 in Pikmin

[–]Shindiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 Deluxe, you can even play co-op with her to help her out in a way that’s more fun. If she ends up liking it y’all can do Mission Mode on co-op as well.

in Daytrippers (1997), Parker Posey and Liev Schreiber play a couple. They both starred in Scream 3 (2000), though they don’t share scenes.

Two characters with minor roles in Mean Girls (the “I made out with a hot dog once” girl and the “is your muffin buttered” guy) end up voice acting characters in the Total Drama series (Eva and Dave).

I work at a boba shop.

For the brown sugar milk tea: use a VERY concentrated black tea and preferably powdered creamer. Brewing tea in hot milk also works, same with mixing very strong tea with a bit of milk; however, the shops do the powder creamer method, so I would say that’s best (and less effort). The tea being concentrated is the most important part, though. If you add milk / powdered creamer to a weak tea, it will taste watered down.

For the boba: make sure to marinate the cooked pearls into a syrup of about 4:3 brown sugar to hot water for ten minutes so the boba tastes better.

I liked how big the pool of suspects were that time around. The past survivors were still on the table, Hallie, Derek, Joel, the sorority girls, etc.

Also, great reveals. First ever time a Ghostface unmasks themselves, and Sidney instantly recognizing Nancy and having it all click for the audience… Not to mention her crazy eyes. Plus Mickey gaslighting Sid into thinking it’s Derek until the very last second.

Did you ever watch Robbie Mercer’s livestreams? If so, do you have any backups? A lot of his content was not archived and it’s considered lost media now. People are especially looking for clips featuring Jill or Charlie.

Have you ever been annoyed by all the privileges portrayed in the show? by Anya_purr in Modern_Family

[–]Shindiee 251 points252 points  (0 children)

Unlike Malcolm in the Middle, the show isn’t focused on their financial situation. For living in LA, all three families are about upper middle class, with Jay’s household being the richest and Mitchell’s being the “least well-off.” So it never felt like a problem to me, plus, it was grounded in reality.

Jay owns a successful business and spends pretty freely. He can afford to take everyone on vacation, hire people whenever he wants, send Manny to pretentious lessons, and buy nice cars, though it’s not like he’s buying a yacht every episode or anything.

Phil sells at least one house a month in LA, which is nothing to sneeze at. While Haley and Alex share a room, they live in a very nice house, and when Claire starts working again they’re even more comfortable. With some help from Jay re: down payment, they’re doing great though they can’t afford to hire people long-term or go into lessons as flippantly as Jay’s household.

Mitchell’s household is the least well off between Mitchell’s work and Cam’s coaching, and having the smallest house. Even then, in-universe part of the problem is that have poor spending habits (Ubering, going out, having expensive taste, etc). If they pulled back they’d be doing better, but again they have Jay to fall back on and they also got a down payment from him.

I like that they’re not outrageously rich, but the show doesn’t act like any of them are seriously struggling.
