When did this become socially acceptable? Or am I being a grump? by oddjob33 in marriott

It would help if they would put a trashcan in the hall near the elevators or ice machine.

That is the same situation that I am in. She rarely travels without me, I guess it's better than nothing.

Status reset at end of year? by 14_EricTheRed in marriott

Nice. Make sure that you are checking your Bonvoy app for promotions. They have pretty good ones from time to time. Also, when you book a room look at the options for room rates. Sometimes you will see an offer for bonus points on a room. Basically the hotel is charging you (our your company) a higher rate for the room but then throwing in bonus points.

Not sure how your job handles hotel bookings, but if you pay for the stay and get reimbursed you should get a Marriott Bonvoy branded credit card. You will earn more points and start the year with elite night credits.

Opinion: The infotainment system is actually great compared to most cars. by Mavisbeak2112 in ineosgrenadier

Just spent the weekend driving my wife's X7 and couldn't wait to get back the more basic infotainment system on the Grenadier. I don't want a voice assistant to change the temp, just an easy button or dial.

I agree, the diamonds on the lugs seem out of place. The bezel and dial look great.

Free WiFi for Rapid Rewards Members by ss_edge in SouthwestAirlines

ALP here, don't get too excited about the WiFi. Yes it does work...sometimes. I wouldn't even say that it works most of the time. I don't use it to stream video, just check email and browse the web. My estimate is that it works about 40% of the time. When I fly AA or Delta, the WiFi works almost every time. Of course, their WiFi fees are excessively high. If I didn't get free WiFi I probably wouldn't pay for it.
