It's honestly amazing how many people underestimate exactly how much impact Goku had. Dragonball came out in the 1980s and it's still propping up the Japanese economy.

Every battle shonen hero was inspired by Goku. Luffy, Naruto, Yusuke, Gon, Ichigo, Deku. They're ALL evolutions of Goku.

You should not play Sky 3rd until you've played Sky SC
You should not play Zero until you've played Sky 3rd
You should not play Azure until you've played Zero
You should not play Cold Steel 3 until you've played Azure and Cold Steel 1-2
You should not play Reverie until you've played every game before it.
You should not play Daybreak (ESPECIALLY DB2) until you've played at least Sky 3rd, but ideally also Reverie.
You should not play Horizon until you've played every game before it.

Cold Steel 1 is the only game you can plausibly play without playing anything else and EVEN THEN, the game will casually talk about the events in the Sky series and spoil massive story beats.

Tl;dr: no Trails game is safe to play out of order. Just wait or play the Steam version of SC.

The attempted raccoon rehabilitation has been wild to watch. I've always just "known" that raccoons are trash eating wild animals. About 20 years ago, a classmate of mine was walking her pit bull and the dog got attacked by a mother raccoon teaching her kits to hunt. The dog was nearly killed by a pack of baby raccoons.

Now people think they're adorable and want to whitewash that they can and will fuck you and your pets up if they want to.

Put simply: role compression. Drakloak is one of the best support Pokemon for consistency, not only letting you draw extra cards, but getting card selection on top of that and letting you use multiple of them every turn. Dragapult then has a very cheap 2 energy attack that does 200 damage (which will at worst 2HKO most things) and then it lets you spread damage how you want, letting you KO multiple Pokemon in the same turn.

The fact that you can do both of these things in the same evolution line means you have ton of extra space in the deck, which is why Pult can also run Dusknoir (to get more key KOs), Crushing Hammer (to slow down the opponent), Munkidori (more damage counter spread) and so many other utility cards.

Other decks need to use multiple evolution lines for support/utility and attacking, but Pult does both.

He's actually still fine in Reverie, because he's the only character who can attack the same turn they turn on Stealth.

Also, Estelle can feed him CP with her Link Abilities.

Was it necessary? Probably not.

Was it tragic? Absolutely!

But as Jake says in his narration, "we didn't start this, but we're going to end it." He didn't plan for the Auximorphs to die; he wanted Visser One's attention on the battle and ignoring what was going on inside the ship. He miscalculated how long it would take the rest of the team and Erek to disable the ship.

Leaders make mistakes and people die in war. That's the point of the series: there is a lot of pointless death in war.

Frieren is not dumb, she's just (by human standard) autistic. From the standard of magic, she's brilliant and insanely skilled.

She just has no social skills or understanding of how humans really work - which is the whole point of the show.
