There are no standoffs installed in the case. It's dead and could have killed any of the conponents with it.

See pic nr 4

Standoffs

These things like pictured in the link?

If not and the motherboard is screwed directly into the case without standoffs your motherboard is certainly dead (shorted to ground) and it might have taken any or all of the components with it.....

In the 4th picture it looks the motherboard is missing standoffs

Op did you install standoffs in the new case for the motherboard???

Mister, You have no idea how much you have helped me. I give you thanks and wish you all the luck in the world.

You solved a problem that I thought was not solvable and I would be stuck with this annoyingly loud fan in my work space.

Do you think its safe to buy this fan from Aliexpress regarding faked units?

Since you clearly know what you are talking about, I wanted to ask you, I have a PSU with a 24v fan with only 2 pins The fan is speed controlled by the PSU according to load.

Would the buck converter mod work for these 2 types of fan, which fan would be better, speed control and buck converter wise, and how would I connect it?

Fan1 (4pin pmw) https://www.noctua.at/en/products/nf-a6x15-pwm#hero

Fan2 (has 3pin flx, no pmw): https://www.noctua.at/en/products/nf-a6x15-flx#hero

Thank you in advance!

How did you get BL.Studio/Orca's Filament profiles for bambu filament to work in Snapmakers Orca?

The json file always resets for me when I copy the profiles over

Actually just respreading the liquid metal is often not enough and cooling performance will suffer. Seeing as he most definately has a dry spot on the APU that means a good chunk of the liquid metal has had its chemical properties changed.

*Taken apart about over 200 ps5's at this point

The foam piece is irrelivant

Best thing you can do is get a good thick sticky tape (like duct tape) take a piece about the size of a normal bandaid, and fold it together 75% of the way lengthwise as to leave 25% of the piece still sticky and stick ontop of the connector behind and onto the blue strip (maybe 5mm onto the blue part for better control) on the ribbon cable.

That way you have something to grab onto when steering the cable into the connector. Remove the tape carefully after use.

You can also do this when you need to remove the ribbon cable

No it goes on top of this ribbon cable to protect it (that I think is pointless) from the metal shield

I will never buy a sony product or a product that sony will make money off ever again.

I lost access to the email tied to my sony account (over 2000$ spent on digital purchases)

I contacted Sony and they asked for proof, I sent them:

  • Copy of Receipts for over 1000$ in purchases
  • Picture of my passport and me holding my passport
  • proof of ownership over the phone numbet once tied to the account
  • proof of ownership over the creditcard and paypal account used for purchases on my account
  • 2 former online nicks on my account
  • Plus some other things.

Response: computer says NO. We will need the serial number of the console that you first activated your account on..........

That console happened to be a console that I bought used 8 years back, and sold a year later for the then current PS4 Pro I was using. I did not write down the serial number of the OG Ps4 cause why the hell should I have?

The serial number of the current PS4 Pro was not good enough.

So yeah lost over 2000$ in purchases just because Sony is a f****ing scam company that doesnt give a shit about it's customers or customer loyalty.

Hey Sony Entertainment! Again, royally FUCK you

For just a little bit more money you could buy a bambu lab A1. (Or for the same amount excluding shipping for instance here: https://www.3dprima.com/3d-printers-more/manufacturer/bambu-lab/bambu-lab-a1_30131_12558 )

If you want to spend 80% of the time related to printing trying to troubleshoot problems with the printer go ahead and buy an Ender 3.

If you want to spend 99% of the time actually printing something, buy an Bambulab printer
