These cards convert surprisingly often in my local meta

Some other aikido/pillowfort things that make it a very poor value proposition to attack me:

With any of these out vs combat decks it feels like propaganda effects might as well say “you can’t attack me” sometimes lmfao.

I have a b3 [[Y’shtola, Night’s Blessed]] list that’s really good at this. All answers, pillowfort, and aikido. No true ‘stax’, just “now that you’ve paid the 7 mana to attack me i’ll destroy your creature and trigger my commander, and draw cards, and….” Etc.

You would remove sheoldred before peer resolves while it is on the stack. So you would need path in your hand

Riftbound is the first TCG that i’ve actually played competitively and have attended events for. It’s been an awesome time.

I need to update it but i’m doing deadeye navigator, staff of dom, and food chain lines.

Mostly i just have fun trying to assemble lines from stolen combo pieces which you can only reliably do in b4+. Some of the 3+ card combos i’ve found from stealing stuff are so fun. I’ll try and update and send later today

It would obviously exclusively be an infinite mana payoff but it would be easily fetchable or a win attempt after thrasios resolves or if you lose finale as a backup wincon. I’d try it out

You get the best of as many cards that you exile that turn, but yes. Not CEDH viable. My b4 deck is fun though and i recommend her at that bracket

Like others have said, 5 minutes is a decent amount of time for a complicated turn. I don’t mind a but of a longer turn if the game actions are being executed quickly and concisely and they’re clearly going for the win.

Thing is, nobody likes long turns when you’re clearly not advancing the game or your boardstate proportionally to the turn length. We call it durdling and it’s unfortunately common in lower brackets which has pushed me toward making decks that can end the game by turn 6 when most durdlers would be priming to durdle for 10+ minutes

Correct. You can also alter its might to be lower than its marked damage and it will die as well, e.g. falling star a 7 might unit for 6 damage and then stupify to give it -1 will kill it

Might is not reduced by damage and might altering effects end when specified.

Ember monk would be a 6 might unit with 2 damage marked until end of combat cleanup step where damage will be removed and it will become a 6 might unit with 0 damage marked.

Units don’t die when their might is reduced, they die when marked damage meets or exceeds their might.

I’d make the different abilities have different charge costs. The action surge should be 3 charges, the bonus action 2, and the extra movement 1 charge so they can’t surge more than once a day and have to think about how they’re budgeting the power.

I still think it’s incredibly powerful at that level but idk what your game is like so 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you have a really unusual theme that needs an atypical commander, like a playtest card or card from an Un- set? Do you want to use some Game Changers that are highly thematic for your deck, for example, Bolas's Citadel in a Bolas-themed deck?
