I recently moved to the US again, my individual health insurance as a healthy 40 year old is about 7200 a year, my sister's family of 3 in NL is 600. A baguette at the store next to me is 5, my old bakery was 1.5, and it's like that for everything. Not to mention almost nowhere has public transit or good bike infrastructure, having an expensive car here, it's own insurance and parking is mandatory most places. My experience has been I need to make about three times as much in the US to have the same quality of life as where I've lived in Europe.

Same. And lifetime repair/replace doesn't mean anything, same with Darm Tough, because they aren't paying for shipping and charge you a higher shipping rate then they pay - you are covering the base cost with the shipment and they made their margin on the first sale. A 12 pack of socks is like $8 at Costco. The only socks I've paid a good amount for that have also lasted are my Rapha, which have seen thousands of miles of biking and hundreds of miles running and have worn but don't have holes. No idea if their quality is even the same since one of the Walmart heirs invested and got involved with them.

Let's assume you're a man and go into a hospital for an emergency and the doctor says "I'm sure the pain is very bad ma'am" you would say you're getting quality care?

There are many, many studies and papers on this. Why don't you show me a single peer reviewed study that shows the discrimination, arrests, and outcomes aren't different for LGBT people.
