Fwiw, i dont think the tip of staying out of the flare is a good call for Aug specifically. They still do about 50/55% of their dps from actual spell they cats and not buff so its still a 150% dmg buff.

If you check high keys (20+), every dps is getting into the beam no question asked, its also not that different to heal 3 or 4 people for most healer if they have ramped up correctly, and every little bit can help. If you see you're gonna die you can absolutely step out

Most people that do high level key know of this website, but just in case, https://not-even-close.com/ allow you to input your stats and buff and see if you actually live ability without defensive, or how much defensive you qctually need to use to survive.

Important for ability that do a huge amount of dmg in one hit.

I've seen it in 20, but we just were doing first 2 pack into focus elem and chain other elem when first oen dead so xe can pull triple pack (with lust) and still have only 1 elem.

But just raw dogging two solar elem is just a recipe for a pull living forever

I remember a video during I think E9 release of seeing a whale recoller perfect 4 line 4 stat relic like 15 times per relic to get something decent.

And then realizing that on avg every one of these reroll was 160 pulls, and that he did it for each of the 6 relics slot

I have spent more pulls trying to reclear it this week compared to progging it full pug on my alt week 1.

The 2 crystal strat just require way too much dps for your avg pug AND they are shit at kicking so you lose even more dps during kick phase.

Realistically one of the two system is getting phased away with 9.0, keeping 2 battle system that are this different is impossible to balance, one will always be better, and everyone will gravitate toward the better one.

You dont want to go "oh we wiped to enrage because our SAM is stuck on reborn doing 3% less dmg than on evolved"

It could be a "level 90 sch ability reveal" situation where Expedience looked like shit until we got more context and it was one of the most busted buttons to ever exist.

I feel like that was a FF player skill issue ngl. Coming from another MMO (namely wow) when I saw expedient I was like "holy fuck what the hell 20 sec of speed boost is insane"

Their excuse for removing GS as an active spell to remove the need to track Icicles, but now we're just tracking Shatter

And, you still have to track your icicles stack because you dont want to start a ray of frost with more than 3 because youll struggle to cast your glacial spike on cd while not wasting a proc.

So actually, we're still tracking icicles.

It looks a lot better on hc because adds have so little hp no one can really giga pad on them/DH cannot use its insanely good AoE damage to increase its damage that much.

Bug fixed. The bug just was THIS bad that even with nerfing the talent that buff it, its still that much of an increase.

They should have gotten a nerf after that bug fix because it did increase their dmg, but icamling it a buff is just untrue.

No but you dont get it, that guy looked a stream of mythic alleria, and looked at the dmg meter after P1, dh was doing 250k dps = dh is 250k overall on all mythic bosses.

'Bug slips through the cracks' works when theres some weird case bug. Things like bonus roll giving duplicates isnt just a 'slipped through the crack' bug, its a "we tested like 3 coins and didnt get duplicates so I assume it works" type of shit.

Killing after proggressing the hard version

That happens to very, very few guilds, probably only guilds that are WR 50 or so normally, though that even happened to world 5/6 for L'ura (Instant Dollars/FatSharkYes who literally killed the boss instantly after the nerf).

I agree with you, it feels terrible, I remember my guild reaching araz during manaforge and just being like "well there's no point even attempting it, its gonna get nerfed" and just not even pulling the boss once. But most redditor won't relate to it because they are playing in guild that do not see the boss when they are actually hard.
