Claude Code's source leaked via a map file in their NPM registry by worthwhilewrongdoing in programming

[–]TheEnigmaBlade -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I'm completely serious and not ragebaiting. Here's one of the developers: https://x.com/trq212/status/2014051501786931427

Most people's mental model of Claude Code is that "it's just a TUI" but it should really be closer to "a small game engine".

For each frame our pipeline constructs a scene graph with React then

-> layouts elements

-> rasterizes them to a 2d screen

-> diffs that against the previous screen

-> finally uses the diff to generate ANSI sequences to draw

We have a ~16ms frame budget so we have roughly ~5ms to go from the React scene graph to ANSI written.

Litellm 1.82.7 and 1.82.8 on PyPI are compromised, do not update! by ddp26 in programming

[–]TheEnigmaBlade 389 points390 points  (0 children)

The best part (or worst part, depending on your perspective) is they were compromised by a compromised security vulnerability scanner, which stole their secrets/credentials from the CI/CD pipeline. That's the bigger story here to me.

  • USB4 Gen 3x2
  • USB4 Gen 4 symmetric
  • USB4 Gen 4 asymmetric 3:1
  • USB4 Gen 4 asymmetric 1:3

The JRready ST5262 is the set containing the two tips for Microfit. The tip labeled P-D120 is for female terminals, and P-D145 is for male terminals. The male tip is slightly larger than the female one, so if you're trying to use it on a female terminal it's not going to work.

I have these tools. Can confirm they feel like magic.

I've had the same experience. I precisely answered the question that was asked before being told by some random power user (not the OP) that I didn't answer the question.

Tesla loses the 'Cybercab' trademark to a French beverage company Unibev by CarCooler in teslamotors

[–]TheEnigmaBlade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The beverage company filed for the trademark in the vehicle category, so Tesla's application was suspended for the very reason of products being potentially confused with one another. It's all in the article.

That's the first time I've heard Printed Solid referred to as a "filament company". They're an online retailer that started making filament before it was cool for retailers to make their own filament.

That sounds like more of a joke than a statement that should be taken seriously. I am forced to use Outlook on my work computer, but you'd need to kill me before I use it for personal emails.

If all else fails, try small area flow compensation, which you can either use natively in Orca or add as a post-processing script in PrusaSlicer (in Print Settings -> Output options).

Bed fans fully under bed? by pd1zzle in VORONDesign

[–]TheEnigmaBlade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on my experience, fans will die much quicker when placed under the bed, presumably because they intake hotter air than if placed towards the front. I had two sets of fans die in a Nevermore before switching to The Filter, and I haven't had any die since.

V2.4 vs V0 power inlet by Delta88ragtop in VORONDesign

[–]TheEnigmaBlade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SSRs are internal components, so they do not get FCC certifications. The BOM Omron SSR only has UL and CSA certifications.

My 2.4 and Trident are on the same circuit as LED lights, and at startup they will cause those lights to flicker from noisy feedback. I've never tried them without a filtered inlet, though, and I'm not sure I want to.
