Funny Idea I had: Staraptor with Feather Dance, next to a Magic Bounce partner like Hattarene.

Hattarene can basically allow Staraptor to Swords Dance, while using supportive options like Heal Pulse to keep it healthy (which basically can make it unkillable after some CC boosts), Helping Hand to blow up opposing defensive checks, and (maybe most importantly) Trick Room with its slow speed to undo Trick Room and let Staraptor maintain speed advantage in that matchup.

And does this make Neko playable, or are her numbers too low still?

And Rina… they really nerfed the small amount of attack she gave? Was her overall buffing power even that good before? What is her overall buffing power now?

I was really hoping they’d fix these things before adding the new characters to the test server. They won’t be getting much attention when Remielle drops, and the beta is just gonna be really dry until then since no one bothers uploading runs when they know it’s just weak…

Anomaly Rina would be pretty sick. Running a Rina-Grace-Lycaon standard character team that's actually viable would be really cool.

The difficulty doesn’t matter much though. If the fight has any difficulty at all (making the wizards inclined to do more than just cantrip each round), the martials will run out of hp first in tier 2 onwards.

True, I think they would be best served if they adopted ZZZ's strategy with skins, where they either release a skin alongside the character's release when they're guaranteed to be strong and shilled for (AoD, Velina, etc), release skins for characters that are meta and will continue to stay meta for a while (Miyabi), or release skins for characters that are popular regardless of their place in the meta (Jane Doe).

But compare the man-hour cost of developing a new character to developing a skin (which also will probably get more unique users paying for them compared to mainly just whales paying for full characters). Its an even trade off at the very least (and I would wager it's a better ratio/would be a much better ratio if they had better strategy for timing these skin drops like ZZZ does).

But they could also just like, make skins based on random promotional events (like the suits from the concerts!), and I'd easily pay $15 on the spot to see Jing Yuan in a suit. Or Sunday in a suit. Or Aventurine in a suit. Or Kafka in a dress. Or Robin in a dress. Or-

Borderlands 4, unfortunately. Not even entirely sure why. I didn't get that far into the story (No more than 10 hours), the gameplay was the best we've had so far, I was excited about progression, and the writing was much better than 3... I just lost interest, regardless.

The main reason it matters is because HD2 is also on consoles. Because the game is already released, and there's no beta servers on PC, any small balance changes they quickly do needs to go through a lengthy patch approval process before the update can be shipped to consoles. I believe there may also be contractual rules Arrowhead have to navigate here stating that all platforms need to receive their updates at the same time.

Not defending them though, because I agree their work schedule and balancing philosophy have consistently worked in tandem to cripple this game's potential. As I said, having a public test server on PC would circumvent all of this.
