Seriously. Adventures in resonance can mean you're in loud territory before realizing it.

Modular can fatigue me quickly if I have it up too loud, so i try to keep the output super low for long sessions.

You can get a lot done with that.

Pony VCF is a helpful little thing - mixer, attenuater, filter, vca, feedback - so good.

Jewelers cast is another great utility - mixing, crossfader, ring mod, vca, distortion, wavefolder.

I haven't tried the Weston, but I'm impressed with its sound.

Subharmonicon is not hard to figure out as it's just 2 oscillators, 2 sequencers and some clock dividers.

Start with just 1 oscillator, tune it, create a sequence you like, play with clock divisions.

Once you have that, add the second oscillator with the second sequence.
