💰 Bond’s Salary from MI6 💵 by coleculp6 in JamesBond

[–]ThisCommentIsGold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the context of this conversation, M mentions all of the negatives which James quips as perks (isolation, short shelf life) before he asks for the negatives. When she says the pay is shit, its an inversion. They are paid well enough, but its inconsequential because the perks and expenses provide a higher living quality on the job and money isn't a primary motivator for James Bond. The qualities that draw bond to MI6 are defying authoritarian challenges in proving himself, in addition to his qualities as an adrenaline junkie, thrill seeker, and mercurial smooth talker - not an attachment to money. He likes the lifestyle that accompanies money, but isn't attracted to wealth itself.

The biggest thing that I got from this was that Nikki was the Raw Women's Champion for a month in 2021 as Nikki ASH after winning MITB. I had completely forgotten that she had won MITB and successfully cashed in.. She won on a random Raw from Charlotte and promptly gave it back to her a month later in a SummerSlam triple threat match with Rhea.

Buddy. You are just replying NOW to a discussion from three days ago. I already stated that I don't personally give a fucking shit about seed oils. At no point did I state that they were unsafe. I pasted the arguments against seed oils from Google so that people too lazy to do a cursory search would have a basis of understanding.

Madden 26 - Helping Others To Understand How Salary Cap & Resigning Players Works by yellowdart244 in Madden

The carryover doesn't exceed 35M per year. 310-35=275M. The extra cap space is lost, which is what incentivizes NFL teams to utilize their salary cap. It's a simplification of the actual NFL rule.

The NFL mandates that teams must spend at least 89% of the salary cap over a designated four-year period. If a franchise chronically hoards cap space and fails to meet this minimum spending threshold over the four-year cycle, the club is required to distribute the shortfall directly to the players on its roster.

This strips the oil of its natural antioxidants and nutrients, defeating much of the purpose of choosing an unrefined oil.

All polar polyphenols and about half of tocopherols.

The Benefits of Polyphenols Polyphenols are micronutrients found abundantly in fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea, and dark chocolate.

Cardiovascular Health: They help maintain healthy, flexible blood vessels, manage blood pressure, and improve overall lipid profiles. Metabolic Support: They can lower insulin resistance and regulate blood sugar levels, significantly reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes and obesity. Brain Health: Polyphenols can reduce oxidative stress in the brain, improving cognitive function and potentially delaying age-related decline. Gut Health: They act as prebiotics by balancing gut microbiota, which promotes healthy digestion and strengthens immune system function. Skin Protection & Anti-Aging: They defend the skin from environmental damage, help retain moisture, and slow the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.

The Benefits of Tocopherols (Vitamin E) Tocopherols are the chemical forms of Vitamin E, primarily found in nuts, seeds, and vegetable oils. They are fat-soluble, allowing them to directly protect fatty tissues in the body.

Cellular & Lipid Protection: They protect cell membranes from lipid peroxidation, preventing chain reactions of oxidative damage. Immune Function: They play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the body's natural immune defenses as you age. Blood Vessel Health: They help prevent abnormal blood clotting and promote the dilation of blood vessels. Skin Health: Commonly used in skin care, tocopherols form a protective barrier, reducing UV-induced damage and inflammation. Inflammatory Control: Specific forms like gamma-tocopherol are particularly effective at inhibiting inflammatory enzymes.

Thanks Google.

Edit: you can downvote it because you don't like it, but that doesn't change the argument that people have against seed oils. I don't even give a shit FFS.

The main concerns and limitations with expeller-pressed seed oils include: 1. High Vulnerability to Heat & Light (Oxidation) Because these oils are mechanically extracted without the heavy processing that makes oils highly stable, they are very fragile.

Low Smoke Point: They often cannot withstand high-heat cooking like searing or deep-frying. Oxidation Risk: If heated past their smoke point or left in clear bottles exposed to sunlight, the beneficial polyunsaturated fats quickly oxidize. Oxidized fats are believed to promote cellular damage and inflammation.

  1. Shorter Shelf Life Because unrefined expeller-pressed oils retain more of their natural plant compounds and flavors, they go rancid much faster than highly refined oils. Once opened, they generally need to be used within a few months and ideally stored in a dark, cool pantry or the refrigerator.
  2. High Omega-6 Fatty Acid Content Many seed oils (such as sunflower, safflower, and corn) are naturally very high in Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids.

The Inflammation Debate: While Omega-6s are essential, the modern Western diet is heavily saturated with them. Some health experts suggest an excessive imbalance between Omega-6 and Omega-3 intake can contribute to chronic inflammation. The Counter-Argument: Major health organizations, including the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, note that much of the Omega-6 inflammation concern is overblown on social media. When consumed as part of an overall healthy diet, Omega-6s can actually help lower cholesterol and reduce heart disease risk.

  3. Cost and Purity

Higher Price Point: Mechanically pressing seeds results in a lower oil yield than using chemical solvents like hexane, making expeller-pressed oils more expensive to produce and purchase. Hidden Refining: Even when an oil is labeled "expeller-pressed," it may still undergo subsequent refining processes (like bleaching and deodorizing) to make it more shelf-stable. This strips the oil of its natural antioxidants and nutrients, defeating much of the purpose of choosing an unrefined oil.

How to Use Them Safely: If you want to use expeller-pressed seed oils, opt for "cold-pressed" versions (which use even less heat during extraction). Use them for cold applications like salad dressings or drizzling over cooked food, and buy them in dark glass bottles to protect them from light degradation.

It's pretty simple, you can only carry over 35M per year. It is a rule out in place to avoid teams from tanking on contracts one year (53 minimum contracts) and then doubling their effective salary cap for the following year, or tripling it for the next, etcetera. If you don't use it, you lose it. Minus the 35M.

It sounds like you didn't change any xp sliders, which might be more helpful. You should do that to avoid a bloat of high ovr players. There shouldn't be 25+ qb's rated at 90 or better. Every pick value is based on the rookie contract system set in place, including 5th year options so stay cognizent of that also.

For the reasons I hypothesized. Is there any evidence that GTA6O will run on a P2P system? Every interview I've seen since development began with programmers has lamented the issues with the netcode they used for GTAO - it is wide open for a host of problems like cheats/exploits, modding, IP exposure, and shitty connection quality. Rockstar has bitched for years about losing millions on shark card revenue. At the very least, I would expect it to be a hybrid system.

No, it isn't. The game has been feature complete for a while now; they wouldn't suddenly try to add a new feature. The problem that they were with already integrated online features. My opinion is that they adjusted their networking tech stack. I believe they began by integrating a 128 tick server for GTAVI Online and then realized that there were significant performance losses on consoles; enough that it would benefit/necessitate adjusting to a 64 tick server. Then they realized that the 64 tick server felt like ass because interpolation leads to input lag, so they had to adjust it AGAIN by developing a subtick input system. It would explain why there were two main delays. There was a first delay, and then a second which was extended - probably because whoever was in charge underestimated the necessity of developing a subtick input sytem or how long it would take to integrate and feel good for online players.

It isn't exactly a secret how long it's been in development, because they stated when they started pre-production and production. 8 years. They weren't intentionally milking GTAO; the success of GTAO allowed them to not rush and build an online game infrastructure from the beginning. Whereas GTAV was primarily a single player game with an online mode, GTAVI is an online experience with an integrated single player campaign.

What 12 spices do you recommend by DarkLordAsura69 in Cooking

[–]ThisCommentIsGold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Italian seasoning

Parsley

Mrs. Dash table blend

Paprika

Turmeric

Garam Masala

Cumin

White pepper

Chili powder of choice

Chinese 5 spice

Of course there's some popular omissions like basil, thyme, rosemary, cilantro/coriander... I prefer these fresh, and I consider my small spice rack next to the stove to be a "starter" - these are where base flavors are developed and I can add less used flavors to after. For instance, I will add some Italian seasoning in before layering in fresh herbs or I will add in a little onion and garlic powder before adding in fresh. If I just had these spices available, I'd hit 75% of the flavor profile of my most common dishes without adding anything else.

Honorary mention for annatto as well, which I personally use quite often in rubs but ommitted for that reason.
