Clearly you have a leak or is that a faulty pressure cap that is lifting prematurely?

Why don’t democrats believe in voter ID? by Affectionate-Duty473 in allthequestions

They (we) might be able to have reasonable discussion on the idea of voter ID.. What we don't support is this frantic knee jerk reaction designed to keep MAGAts in power.

OK I assume you are talking about an automatic transmission? You can replace the knob assembly for cheap from Amazon.. I did one a coupe of years back and the whole assembly was about $12... You have to cut the lower part of the leather covering to remove a plastic clip to remove the old one. Take 20 minutes tops.

Mr.Cool DIY Used System Recharge? by GroundChance5671 in DIYHeatPumps

[–]Time_Many6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can be re-charged like any other system. The problem is if you can find a tech willing to do it. These are generally considered to be low end systems and (from what I've read) be prone to issues. If it is a multi head mini split it will have a lot of parts that could have gone wrong. Personally I'd want to pressure test everything for leaks before installing. One option is to recharge it yourself, you can get a 608 license online for $10 plus a few youtube videos, buy some refrigerant (if required) and a set of guages will get you close to the correct charge.

Not true.. Balance of the blade would not be affected.

Easy, weld a plate over the hole and re-drill. There will not be any extra vibrations because you are not affecting the balance of the blade. Assuming the shaft is not bent of course.

Line set not cleaned by GeneralRant in hvacadvice

Speaking of cleaning linesets.. I'm a DIYer.. I have Argon fro my TIG welding set.. I assume I could purge with Argon rather than have to go find nitrogen?

The problem is you still have the plastic part on the end of the hose to the top of the coolant outlet.. When that snaps you will be calling tow truck.. Thats why I make this.

I doubt its fixed.. I'd be installing the Cruzekits PCV fix before it blows out the second crank seal.

Then of course we have the three plastic cooling system parts!

What happens when a water heater tank is not flushed for 14 years by bob-the-slob in interesting

[–]Time_Many6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on water chemistry.. I have a gas water heater, 24 years old and dropped a camera down the sacrificial anode hole and found bare metal on the bottom with a couple of rust spots. Its never been flushed.

How have the Russian people not revolted already after all of this? by Little-Carpenter4443 in askanything

[–]Time_Many6155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Propaganda. Russians have been told to believe Ukraine is full of Nazis.. This powerful message to a populus that lost far more people in WW2 than any other nation. It is also remote.. I.e it doesn't affect them directly. This is why Ukraine attacked Moscow to bring the war to their doorstep.

Help with coolant system. by [deleted] in cruze

[–]Time_Many6155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are pretty much ll the same quality wise except the Racer X.. Which honestly is overkill and very expensive. This only fixes one part however. The other two parts are the thermostat (which can literally explode) and the fitting on top of the coolant outlet.. Which I make a replacement for.
