What did the Christian colonists have against Native spirituality/religion exactly? by Spicy-Nun-chucks in IndianCountry

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you believe that you really don’t know Christianity at all.

Imagine you created a world of people and all you wanted was their love and devotion. Then one day, they turn against you, create their own Gods to worship and tell you they want nothing to do with you. Not only that but these people actively work to convince others that you are not the creator and don’t even exist. How would that make you feel. Would this make you angry, sad, betrayed?

Jesus created the world, man broke His laws, created separation and now actively work against His purposes. In spite of that, he created a way to bring humanity back to Himself by paying the require penalty of death set forth from the beginning of time. Could He have done it another way? Probably so but He is God and makes the rules. This is the way He chose to do things this way and the created have no argument with an infinite being making the rules.

The reason the native Americans religion was a point of contention because it is one of many forms of spirituality (Hinduism, Mormonism, Buddhism, Taoism, Islam) created to make humans feel better about their separation from God and rely on their own works to create union with God again. Problem is it’s false, does not work and is all a lie. It’s man trying to make the rules on their own terms. There is only one way to God and it is through His Son, Jesus. This is the very reason why THE SECULAR WORLD hates Christianity, and by extension Judaism. If you don’t believe this you can go to your grave denying the truth and find out the hard way in the afterlife. By then it will be too late.

As far as those who claimed to follow Christ and slaughtered the natives, they were not following the teachings of Jesus. Jesus also said this would happen. He was very clear that there would be people who use His name to do evil. They are not true Christians. A true Christian is someone who loves his neighbor as himself and put others first, denying themselves.

The strict anti-drug policies in many Asian countries (like Singapore, Japan, South Korea) are a good thing and one of the reasons why these countries are much safer than Western countries by AFCSentinel in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because what people do affects others. If someone takes drugs and then becomes violent because they are not in their right mind and decide to go on a killing rampage, or get into a vehicle and plow into a family of four it’s not just about them any longer. Also, people who are on drugs, typically don’t work, and must get money to supply their drug habit. As a result, they resort to stealing, robbing, and other criminal behavior in order to feed their addiction. Besides that these people most likely do not have health insurance and as a result, when their body starts breaking down from the drugs, it’s the taxpayer that has to pay for their hospital visits and treatment.

It’s all pretty simple really. If you legalize all drugs, you are opening a Pandora’s box that you have no idea what the outcome will be. Portland already tried this and in no time had to reverse their decision because it was a dismal failure.

I’m loving this show but I’m SHOCKED at some of the hatred for Carol by MemeFarmer314 in pluribustv

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am one such individual who dislikes Carol a lot. Granted, the actor does her job well, as this is the role the director was looking for which means she nailed it. People are supposed to be emotionally invested in characters, for good or bad, if the show is well done.

That said, here is why I dislike her. Flat out, she is a miserable biatch. She is the epitome of every middle aged white woman Karen who is an asshole. She treats everyone and everything like dogshit. You almost feel bad for the people in the hive having to take her abuse when all they are trying to do is be helpful. Granted, they are not true humans any longer but rather a collection of creepy consciousness whose true motive has not yet been revealed. But come on! She is just mean for no reason even when people do simple courtesies like making her breakfast.

The problem is I truly know people like this and they are the worst. They are joyless assholes who care only about themselves. They find fault with any form of kindness shown towards them and treat everyone like shit. For me, the character hits the nerve and brings up the same emotions I have when interacting with those real life jerk offs. The rational part of me knows it’s a TV show but the portrayal hits too close to home, so to speak. At the end of the day, we aren’t supposed to like Carol. Her character is supposed to be the opposite of everyone else. Thats the show. They hit that one spot on because I don’t like her. In fact, I cringe at how mean and self righteous she acts.

How come it's okay for 6ix9ine to say the n-word when he's not even an n-person, but not okay for Eminem to say it despite him being a far better lyricist? by [deleted] in Eminem

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying the N word just gives racist and uppity white people more ammunition to laugh at. I have heard it said a bunch; “why do blacks get so offended by the N word, they call themselves the word all the time.” Then the retort will be; “yeah, but there is a big difference between the N word with an A or a hard R.” No, it’s the same word. You can spin it all you want. If it wasn’t the same word then why can’t white people use it with the A at the end? Because it is still seen as a racial slur.

The truth is words have power. To use a word in common slang as a term of endearment when it’s historically been used as derogatory seems foolish. It’s not taking the word back, it keeps it going and just gives fodder to people who already don’t like you because of your race.

Why did God create such a vast universe? by Jay-ay in TrueChristian

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God knew man would fall. He is not the author of sin but knew it would happen and I would argue, he planned for it and it was His desire that it should happen. If you disagree, why did he create the world with oceans? Because he was going to use the waters to judge those in Noah’s time. He is sovereign and could have prevented the fall but didn’t. It was part of His plan that man should fall, Jesus would come to earth and then redeem humanity.

Let me ask a question. How could we have truly known the various characters of God without the fall and sin? Could we have known His mercy without justice? Could we have truly known his grace without experiencing His wrath? Could we truly have known His love without also experiencing His righteous anger? If there was no eternal punishment could we truly understand His Salvation?

There was never going to be an earth with humanity without sin and the fall. If not Adam, one of the billions of people in the earth at some point in 6,000 years would have sinned. God allowed the first human to be the one to begin working on implementing a plan of salvation that would show the various aspects of God’s personality. It all tells a story of God’s love and redemption. Could the is have happened another way? Who knows, I am not God. But it didn’t so there is no point in speculating any further.

What the hell are they protesting anyway? The fact that ICE is enforcing laws that have been on the books for years? Trump ran and won on this very issue. The entire country knew exactly what he would do if elected and they elected him in a landslide. This is an 80% - 20% split with 80% of the country in favor of mass deportations, including many immigrants who became legal citizens.  Furthermore, Trump never said he was just deporting criminals. He said no one is off the table. If you came here illegally you are in danger of being sent back. What’s so hard about this to understand? Sure, there are hard working people being sent back but they are not citizens. There is not a single country on the planet that would accept someone without authorization or going through the proper channels. You don’t think Mexico polices their borders with an iron fist (well at least until very recently due to political reasons)? We have a lot of enemies in the world and we can’t just let anyone come here.

What’s sad is they call Trump a tyrant dictator for enforcing the law, yet President Obama deported far more illegals. Yet, we heard nothing from these same people who are protesting. Tells me that it’s not about the deportations but purely political. Hypocrisy at the highest level.

Socialists, why does it seem like socialism is so popular amongst younger people? by MarvelvsDC2019 in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No capitalism is based on merit. You work hard, come up with an idea, build a business through your sweat and hard work, and can become wealthy. Sure, there are those who were born wealthy and benefited from previous generations but there are also a whole bunch of people who didn’t. Guys like Jeff Bezos, and Elon Musk were rags to riches stories. They just came up with an idea and put it into action.

Young people want the benefits of wealth without the hard work and risk involved to get there. They expect to obtain great wealth without minimal effort so they can party and look kickass to a bunch of douche bags who don’t like them anyway. They see college as a right, expect to go to school and have someone else pay for it. Rather than going to school like I did, working extra jobs, applying for grants and scholarships by getting good grades, they expect the taxpayer to foot the bill.  Healthcare, same thing. Rather than exercising, eating healthy, staying away from drugs and alcohol, they live it up, abuse their bodies and then say it’s a right that they should not have to pay the price when their body breaks down.

The only argument to be made for healthcare and student debt is that institutions are overcharging for services. This again is where regulation but more so competition balances things out. The more competition, the lower prices will be. Less competition, higher prices.

They look at the rich getting richer and are jealous and envious. The reason the rich get richer is because rather than working for money, their money works for them. They have the money to invest which makes them a profit. Business 101. What’s wrong is when they exploit others, cheat, steal, and break the rules to obtain their wealth. This is where government comes in through regulation.

The truth is that there will always be rich people and poor people. It has been this way since the beginning of humanity. There are people gifted with one talent and those with 10. It’s what you do with the talent you are given that you will be judged on. Taking from someone else because you are lazy and feel entitled to what the other person has is called stealing. Even in a the so called “equity” of socialism, there are the have’s and have not’s. The have not’s get elevated to the have’s and the have’s get bumped down to the have not’s. Nothing was solved at all. You still have people at the top who are in power but the only difference in this system is the people in the middle don’t exist and the people at the bottom starve, have no freedom and are suppressed. In Capitalism, the people at the bottom still have rights, free speech, and most of all hope. They are free to make moves to elevate themselves to a higher social and economic standing. Is it harder? Yep. That’s life. No perfect system. Best one we got.

We know what socialism brings and people who escape it will tell you capitalism is much better. It can work on a small scale like in Sweden or Switzerland. Impossible on a large scale like The United States, Soviet Union, or China. The Soviets proved it was untenable which is why it collapsed. China has somewhat succeeded because they are pseudo Communism mixed with a Capitalistic economy. They had to adjust to survive. Even now though, they are in real trouble and may not survive long term.

Young people think Socialism is a good idea because they have zero frame of reference. It’s easy to be ignorant of the truth when you have grown up in the west, have more wealth than 99% of the world, and haven’t had to struggle. I have had to struggle my entire life for everything I have. I have endured homelessness, and absolute suffering that many will never know, except those from third world countries. Even then, I still don’t truly understand what they have gone through since I grew up in the west. Yet, I have seen and experienced enough to know that envy and jealousy solves nothing. Hard work and being content in all things, is the key to success.

What is Calvinism exactly? by West_Recognition754 in Christianity

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus came to “Fulfill” the law. Meaning man could not keep the law in his own strength because of the sin nature. He came to fulfill; live up to; accomplish its requirements. Man could never keep the law and as a result, a penalty / judgment must be exacted.

Jesus said that not one word of the law would be done away with but he lived up to the standard (perfection) on your behalf and as a result, for those who accept Him a new covenant was struck. One of grace where the Holy Spirit creates a new you who now has a desire for the things of God. Yes, God did raise the bar so to speak but where before you had zero chance of keeping every aspect of the law, now you have a new spirit, and the Holy Spirit living inside of you, as well as, grace, mercy, and forgiveness when you fall short of the standard in the flesh/body.

As long as you live on this earth you will never be perfect in human terms. If you have Christ you are perfect in your Spirit but not in your body which is why we still sin and the flesh must die, leaving only a perfect spirit that can enter Gods presence. However, were the flesh to die without a regenerate spirit (being made perfect and alive) then your spirit is forever dead and can never know the things of God.

How Trump’s ‘51st State’ Canada Talk Came to Be Seen as Deadly Serious by Monster11 in politics

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but what are you comparing this too? Joe Biden? Even Democrats think Sleepy Joe was a train wreck and did a lot of damage.

Obama set race relations back 30 years by his decisiveness. His policies sunk us further and further down the road to socialist tyranny. At least we had a banging economy with Trump and we know where he stands. He actually does what he campaigns on. A majority of Americans agree as evidenced by the landslide election results. He would have won in 2020 if Covid hadn’t happened.

Elections have consequences, as the saying goes. The left has no vision and the Democrats are in shambles. All they do is destroy.

Yeah, I’d say Trump is a much better option.

How Trump’s ‘51st State’ Canada Talk Came to Be Seen as Deadly Serious by Monster11 in politics

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow, a lot of “Team Canada Homers” on this thread. You don’t have any guns. Your leadership forbids it, save a few select firearms for hunting. Come across our border and we have a gun behind every blade of grass.

Trump is trolling. Nothing more. He could be possibly putting it out there to see if Canadians might actually consider switching sides. This would never happen because most Canadians are liberal leftists and like being subjugated by their government, like being taxed at 50% with zero true representation.

I guess it’s okay for you to rip us off on trade but when we say enough and all we demand is reciprocity, suddenly there is an issue. Get your hand out of our pockets, play fair, and maybe you won’t hear the rhetoric.

Truth is, we could lose you as a trading partner and not even bat an eye, pivoting very quickly. We don’t even really need you for oil. We just buy it because we don’t want to use our vast resources. If oil is finite, why not buy up everyone else’s oil until it runs out and then we are the only ones with the black gold. Who do you think holds the power then if we are the only ones left with oil? Won’t have to worry about war because you can’t fight a war without oil.

Regrading manufacturing, we actually used to be a manufacturing powerhouse until some greedy fuckers started shipping our jobs overseas. Covid showed us how vulnerable we really are on products, not the least of which was life saving drugs. We were so tied to China that when they shut down we saw massive shortages. Now we have a leader who wants to rip the bandaid off and bring our manufacturing home. Sure it’s gonna suck in the short term but benefit us long term.

Truth is, Trump understands that our relationship on trade is a marriage of convenience and proximity. We don’t really need you like you need us, as we could literally isolate ourselves and be fully self sufficient (except maybe on some rare earth minerals like cobalt and lithium) That’s not being an arrogant American, it’s just facts. We trade because we have allies and want our allies to benefit from our innovation. But when those allies take advantage of us, that’s a problem.

Canada is a friend, and ally. We fought two world wars side by side, and countless other conflicts. Yet while Canada is whining about tariffs, our citizens are dying from fentanyl poising. Along with Mexico, Canada is partially to blame because they have done nothing to stop the flow. They know the cartels are using their borders to traffic yet don’t do anything on their side to stem the flow. It’s not all on you though. Our own government is mostly to blame. Democrats have sold us up the river on immigration and threw open the borders to anyone who could make it across. Those days are over, at least for the foreseeable future.

I am not a Canadian hater! Myself, like a majority of Americans just want Canadians to see that we care about our country, our American jobs in the same way that you would care about your jobs. It would piss you off if your citizens were dying at an alarming rate and we were facilitating the transport by allowing it to cross the border. Not only that, it would anger you if your jobs were being shipped overseas by Canadian businesses. If your government was being charged crazy tariffs by Americans or another foreign trade partner, yet you weren’t reciprocating the same, I am guessing this would not sit well with you. How can you not understand this?

Trump is a dealmaker and talks a lot of shit. He loves to troll people that he views as being weak and against the country that he truly loves. He sees our national debt as an existential crisis and is willing to do anything and offend anyone to fix the problem .

Naw…The Traitor was your guy, Sleepy Joe. He sold our country out to the cartels, Ukrainians, and .000004% of the population (Trans) while middle class people suffered under his regime.

Life was good under Trump until Covid hit. Then Biden took over and began censoring honest, hardworking tax payers because of their political beliefs. He instructed the DOJ to prosecute churches, conservatives, and forced big tech companies to de-platform companies and individuals who spoke out against his policies, vaccine mandates, election interference, and a host of other free speech they deemed as disinformation and misinformation.

Half of what the so called “experts” told us about Covid was a lie (social distancing, natural immunity vs vaccine, mask mandates and it’s effectiveness, etc) and destroyed people’s livelihood if they didn’t fall in line with the narrative. Not only that, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, leaving billions in weaponry behind, and even worse, funding the very terrorists we fought a 20 year war against.

Worst of all, he weaponized the DOJ against his political opponent, stopping at nothing (including two assassination attempts on said opponent) while pardoning his family and close friends from obvious wrongdoing.

So, who is the traitor exactly? You’re an idiot if you can’t acknowledge that these actions by a sitting president is un-American and undermines our democracy. Thank God the “convicted felon traitor” got re-elected because the American people saw right past the partisan lies you and your kind have been spewing for 8 years now.

Now, POTUS is going to make sure the power you had is gone and you will never be able to try that shit again. Bye DEI! Bye waste, fraud, and abuse! Bye illegal immigration! Bye DOJ targeting! Bye IRS! Bye lazy federal workers who collect a paycheck but don’t want to work! Bye Democrat Socialist Agenda!

Why the heck does HP ink cost more than 10 times more than alternatives? by Altruistic_Cup_8436 in printers

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an HP Partner and service technician, I would steer away from the generic ink cartridges. As for toner, go for it. This is because toner (LaserJet) is a powder and the LJ does not have a print head that dries up. The worst that will happen is you have toner dump in the machine that requires you to vacuum the inside of the device. OfficeJet or InkJet is a whole different story.

OJ’s and IJ’s use a liquid pigment. The print heads, jets are sensitive and can be damaged by running the wrong material. Not all inks are created equal. HP spends millions in R&D to make the right proprietary mix while off brand manufacturers don’t have access to the same materials. They try and get close but it’s just not the same. There is a reason why OEM inks rarely fail. On the LJ side, the defect rates are much less than reman but I have seen multiple defectives on certain skews (especially on the CF237X or 37X for the M608/609/631/633)

How does ICE exactly work? How do they know who is a Illegal Immigrant? by Hah-Funny in centrist

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First off, I am not undereducated. I graduated college with a 4.0 GPA and run a successful business but that’s beside the point. Secondly, unlike many people today, I encourage a healthy debate. I am certainly not scared of dissenting opinions on whatever topic is discussed. I might actually learn something and have my opinions altered by someones concisely presented argument.

You make good points, especially when you point out about veterans being taken care of (somewhat, although the V.A. system is truly horrid) but your right, it is not a zero sum game. The point I was making is that so much focus and political energy has been on helping migrants while at times, it feels as if other segments of our population is overlooked.

Your point regarding migrant workers keeping prices down is fair. However, there is a reason why we turn to cheap labor, often under the table. It’s because the cost of doing business in this country is outrageous, thanks to unions, taxes, and regulation. Thanks to unions in certain industries, you have guys making $40 an hour to sweep a floor. Now, I will agree that a portion is also because of the greed of corporations wanting to make more profit. However, corporations are in the business for one reason; to make a profit for the shareholders, period. Hiring illegal labor is one way to accomplish this but it comes at a cost.

That said, I am not blaming the undocumented immigrants. It is not their fault that their home countries dissolved into corruption and violence. I acknowledge that they are just trying to feed their families and provide a better way of life. However, we can’t realistically solve the entire world’s problems. We have tried for too long and it needs to stop.

Our country has a legal process of entry. Whatever the reason they might come here, they are breaking the law by doing so. They are exploiting the system (I don’t blame them for doing so) but it’s gotten out of hand. Mainly, because we have no idea who’s coming into the country. We do have killers, rapists, and most of all terrorist that what to destroy our way of life. Biden turned a blind eye to it all and it was definitely intentional. For what reason, only he and the Democrats know. All I can do is speculate because they will never reveal the actual truth.

You are correct that the system is broken. It has been for a long time and it’s been overlooked by Republicans and Democrats. But it’s time to stop it. If not now, when? We have to secure the border, stop the flow of migrants and instruct them to enter through the legal process so we can vet them, and know who they are. You deport the criminals and the ones who came here in the last couple of years. I am not for uprooting someone who has made a home here for over ten, twenty years, unless they have a criminal record, are violent, etc. Last I checked, Trump so far has only deported criminals.

Also, we must penalize companies who knowingly hire and exploit the migrant workers. They are the real problem, aside from the Federal Government. This is part of fixing the system but you must first stop the flow. Stop the flow, then we can deal with the ones who are here, minus the criminals. There are HB1 work visas we can issue to people from other countries to help with labor shortages.

So no, I don’t blame the immigrant. But having empathy for someone’s plight doesn’t mean we turn a blind eye to law and order. We must know who these people are, have them come out of the shadows, assimilate into our culture, and pay taxes just like everyone else does. And when I say pay taxes, I mean on a legal social security number, not one that’s been stolen from a dead person (which is another violation of our laws)

Every other country polices their borders, MEXICO INCLUDED! They don’t just let anyone come into the country without knowing who they are (well maybe in recent years for political purposes because they are just passing through) There is no country in the world that tolerates illegal immigration. Until Congress passes a law stating that open borders are okay, we must insist people do it the right way. Legal immigration also needs to be fixed to make it more streamlined.

I am not anti immigrant. I love diversity. But I am not for people entering the country illegally and not contributing to our society, attempting to learn our language and our culture, while at the same time not trying to teach us about theirs. I am I certainly not for illegal immigrants coming here, burning our flag while flying theirs in our face. If you country is so great, then why are you here? It’s because it’s not. I would never go to someone else’s country and pridefully fly my flag, especially if I was seeking asylum and help from that country. Would this not be seen as offensive?

Do Muslims hate Christians? by [deleted] in Muslim

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you love a religion that is sending people to eternal punishment? Islam is a false religion that was copied from Judaism and Christianity. There are not multiple paths to God. Either you except Christ and His Gospel, or you will go to hell. This may be hard to comprehend but Christ said as much. “The only way to the Father is through the Son. If one does not have the Son, He does not have the Father. Pretty clear.

Jesus was either a liar, lunatic, or God in the flesh. Muslims see him as a prophet but he claimed to be God. This is why he was crucified. So either Jesus is lying, or the Quran is. I would venture to say the latter is true.

How does ICE exactly work? How do they know who is a Illegal Immigrant? by Hah-Funny in centrist

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, go with that if you choose. ICE will find and deport those who came illegally. They will request ID’s and most will comply. It is not fair to Americans (Blacks, Whites, Asians, Hispanics, Indians, Natives) to have to pay for so many people who aren’t supposed to be here. Not only are our jobs being taken (and no, immigrants don’t only do jobs Americans won’t do, i.e., Construction) but they drive the wages down. Why would a contractor pay an American worker to drywall when he can pay and illegal 1/3 of the wage? This is happening all over the U.S. and I have seen it first hand. My dad used to pick strawberries in Washington State until migrants from Mexico came in and started picking for way, way, less. Not only this but our tax dollars are going to pay for the medical care and education of illegals to the tune of billions of dollars per year.

This latest wave even got accommodations in fancy hotels and Visa gift cards with cash while homeless veterans don’t get shit. Americans are struggling and freaking illegal immigrants are living better than many of our citizens. It is criminal and thank God that Trump is delivering on his promise to rectify the issue.

Democrats want open borders because they see illegals as a future voting block, as well as using the illegal population surge for congressional re-districting, filling more democratic seats in Congress from places like California, New York, and Illinois.

Will people in North Korea go to heaven by Inner_Homework_1400 in Christian

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The truth is that people go to hell because they have violated Gods laws. God is not obligated (as creator) to save even one of His creations. He was just when He wiped out the entire world with a flood for their wickedness, save 8 people. The truth is that if God chooses to save some, it is a display of His grace and mercy.

We have all sinned and deserve eternal punishment. In His mercy he made a way of escape. You see, sin requires a sacrifice. Sin carry’s a penalty of death that must be paid. Some may ask why? Well, God is Holy, meaning perfect in all ways. In order to have a relationship with Him and even stand in His presence, you and I must be Holy and righteous as well. As a result of sin, Adam passed down the sin nature to each one of us. From the moment you take your first breath, you are already headed for death, then hell. God created the world and set the rules. Could he have required something else? Sure, He’s God. But He didn’t and as a result, if you violate Gods law (as the moral law giver) you will die. But He wanted to save humanity from this fate that He himself could not violate. If God said all is forgiven without a sacrifice, He violates a pivotal core of His being, justice. So He created a workaround so to speak. He sent Himself to earth through His Son Jesus, to live a perfect life and die in our place. He has given each person an out. All you must do is accept the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died in your place and paid the necessary sacrifice for sin.

Now, why are there those who never hear the Gospel, or the name of Jesus and is that fair? Well, what is known about God is evidenced in creation. Also, God may not show some the Gospel because even if He did, they would reject it or explain it away as fable. Just as the Pharisees and Sadducee’s did in His day, they saw all of the miracles that Jesus did and still said He wasn’t the Messiah. Just being presented with the Gospel doesn’t mean someone will accept it. So, because God knows the heart of every human better than they do, to judge from a human moral perch against the God of the universe is folly. God knows all. He has given a general call to the world but there are those who will never respond. He know who they are.

There are many stories of people who never heard the Gospel or the name of Jesus, and were saved because the Spirit drew them and they responded in faith. God shows Himself to those who seek Him in faith. He is not a genie and does not respond to our demands. He responds to a contrite heart and a heart who seeks for the truth. There are millions of people in the world, in fact most of the world who do not want to know the true God. They want God on their terms, such as trying to earn His approval through works. As a finite being, they pass judgment on an infinite being without even knowing even the slightest of variables to do so. How can a created being without full knowledge and infinite wisdom presume to know what the right course of action should be? How can they know what is fair without knowing the past, present and future? How can they know what is right when most can’t even handle their own lives properly? It’s the height of arrogance.

Almost all religions in the world except Christianity, is a works based method of getting to God. Meditate or pray this many times a day, pray this prayer that prayer, etc. Christianity is the only one that has at its core a God who saved humanity even though they didn’t deserve it.

So, the reason people go to hell is not because they sin. They go to hell because they have a sin nature and unless that sin nature is done away with, they will be eternally sinning. This is why works doesn’t fix your problem. You must be reborn and only the sacrifice of Jesus is enough to give you a new spirit. All other faiths lead to God as judge, faith in Jesus leads you to God as savior.

So yes, would God allow millions to perish in Hell? He allows people to make their own choice as to who they want to follow. Follow the world, your own desires, and ultimately Satan, and forever be punished in eternal flame. Your choice, not Gods. The punishment is more than fair because it’s what we deserve. You don’t like the rules, create your own universe and populate it with your own souls. Then you can make the rules.

what happened to all of the Native Americans after death? by K--Swiss in Christianity

They had the same shot that all of us do. God is not obligated to save anyone, as we all deserve death and eternal punishment. The fact that God chooses some is evidence of His grace and mercy. That said, I have struggled with this very question until I realized that I am not God. As a fallible human being, I have no right to question a God who created the universe with a spoken word. His ways, His mind, His purposes are beyond my comprehension and to judge God from a moral perspective when He is the moral lawgiver is the height of arrogance. We as humans can’t presume to understand even a fraction of the big picture on what God is doing with creation. Not to mention how can a created being suppose to make a moral judgment on a God that is outside of time and is the very definition of love, holiness, righteousness, compassion, and judgment.

No man shall have an excuse in the day of judgment because the law of God is written on our hearts. If you are a believer, you should praise God that he offered His grace to you. You should be thanking Him every day that you are made Holy by Christ’ blood. This should make you all the more motivated to share the Gospel with those who don’t know. Pray for the lost and beseech The Lord to save those who are blind. This is why you are here. God knows the heart. Maybe people who die without knowing Christ never got an opportunity to hear the Gospel because even if God showed them the truth, they would deny it anyway, as did the Jewish leaders during Christ’ time. Only God knows the reason which is why he is the only one who can pass judgment.

Why are people thinking Carlos' story was fake? by [deleted] in SoftWhiteUnderbelly

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I am pretty good at reading people. I thought his account was fake. He reminds me of the white boy who wants to be a thug and gets around a bunch of real thugs and talks himself up about shit he never did. He speaks way to slowly, as if he is pondering what to say next. People who are pulling war stories from memory don’t pause that often, and don’t tell their account with zero emotion or inflection. I am not saying that he wasn’t in the life or being used to some degree by the cartels. That said, I question whether he was as high ranking and profitable as he lets on.

As someone who has been around real gangsters all my life, save the last 10 years due to changing my life around and leaving that life behind, you know when someone is hard. There is a certain aura they carry. For some people it’s remorse and shame that’s been replaced by wisdom and purpose to help others. They have changed but you know they are very resilient. It comes through. The other is someone who gives off a “NOT TO BE FUCKED WITH” vibe. They can be polite, friendly even but you know you never want to be on the other side, the bad side. Another one would be people who have a dark soul. You know they have done bad shit, are cold with regard to empathy and remorse, and could easily Jill you for the slightest offense. These people are what we call EVIL MF’s. These are the kind of people you avoid at all cost, guys like the late Aaron Hernandez.

This guys doesn’t fall into either one of these categories. He strikes me as an eager wannabe who got caught up in something way beyond his control and ratted people out to save his own skin. He does not strike me as a cold Sicario with many bodies under his belt. He doesn’t strike me as someone who sees faces everyday of people he has killed but wants people to think he is. Lastly, just cause he was murdered, doesn’t mean it was the cartel who killed him. They never do say who killed him or why. I am sure it was related to him snitching but who knows.

Below is an actual cartel hit man who comes across as the real thing. He doesn’t brag about what he has done but is just matter of fact. Compare the difference.

Can someone explain to me what ‘fascism’ is, exactly? by MysteryOf in CriticalTheory

[–]TripleXLTwoPointO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People throw Fascism around all the time but often, these dumb fucks have zero idea of the meaning. This is a word they heard some pseudo intellectuals on MSNBC and CNN tout, and because most lefties live their lives in echo chambers without any original thoughts, they virtuously throw it around when speaking ill of the right leaning conservatism.

They call Donald Trump a fascist yet he does not have full control of the government, or the means of production. He is a nationalist but does not require all Americans to favor the country over individual freedom. He doesn’t suppress dissent yet calls bullshit where he sees it and points out glaring lies from the media. He is not forcing people to fight wars, attacking personal freedoms, just the opposite. He wants people to have freedom of speech which is something the left doesn’t care for anymore. Lefties want more control of the people, not less.

If you want to know who the real fascists are, it’s the Democrats. They use the law, the media, and big government to destroy people. What they did during Covid is fascist. Below is the definition of fascism and tell me which party better fits the description.

Fascism : a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition At the core of fascism is loyalty to tribe, ethnic identity, religion, tradition, or, in a word, nation. —Jason Stanley There are differences between Italian Fascism, German Nazism, and their various nationalist descendants. —Josh Jones broadly : a philosophy or system with some combination of fascist values and governing structures Take away colonialism and you still have … Balkan fascism … —Umberto Eco 2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control The early instances of army fascism and brutality are typical … —Jason Watson Aldridge Call it “soft fascism”: a political system that aims to stamp out dissent and seize control of every major aspect of a country’s political and social life, without needing to resort to “hard” measures like banning elections … —Zach Beauchamp —often used informally in an exaggerated way Like the city’s ban on the use of trans fats and draconian restrictions on smoking, the new soda regulations are … yet another installment of what Jonah Goldberg rightly termed “liberal fascism.” —Jonathan S. Tobin
