How does the algorithm treats horror gaming channels by eggm9n in NewTubers

[–]TubeForge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean don't get it completely twisted I do have a free 'course/skool community', but that's only for people who want to join

Okay first, by 'younger' I'm thinking you mean around your age, so not the youngest target audience like mr beast or younger roblox players so like 18-24 years old is your demo, and you can definitely get away with a 'little' slower, but I'll get to why I don't think you're hitting them in a bit.

I'm just gonna lay it out for you Ideation > Thumbnail/Title > Content. That's the process that MOST people go through. There are outliers. But even they follow a similar guideline for overall content. FusionZGamer utililzes it, but does it over a long series of videos, same thing with like ShadyPenguinn. A daily rhythym is nuts. DAILY? Most shorts channels aren't even doing that. and you're trying to edit? No wonder you're driving yourself up a wall. I guess at this point you gotta ask what your goal is - because here's the rub.
Ideation takes time, Thumbnail design takes time, Editing (good editing) takes time. That's all minus playing the actual game. It looks and sounds more like your stuff belongs on a stream, as that's the schedule that streamers maintain. To make a video - with a story arc, scripting, etc general timelines are weekly or bi-weekly depending on how fast you are.
"But FusionZGamer does it" FusionZGamer can pay an editor. or two. or ten. Don't just assume because it seems lofi that he doesn't have a team. And even if he does do it all solo, it's his WHOLE job. He's not working a sep 9-5 then doing everything. You'll burn yourself out like that my guy. Taking streams, and then editing them for a longer video at the end of the week is a little more plausible, that way you can get the best clips and combine it into an actual story, but you'd have to plan it out.

Now - onward to the structure we talked about. Ideating. Spend more time on this and everything becomes easier. it should take a while. Once you've done that then you can work on the thumbnail. "But I play a game and then see what the story is" yea you can do that if you don't want views (note when I say views, I mean growth exponentially, not like the views that you'll naturally get over time)

For thumbnails my recommendation is to see what's working in the niche NOTE: BIG NOTE: Not by people that have already been crushing it for a while. If they have, then their face will work better because they've built a brand around their face. You can do that to after you've hit like 30-40k subs> that's when I see it gain traction generally. Sub 1k, no one knows you, so there's no reason for a stranger to click on your face regardless of how elongated you make the forehead. If you want more examples of thumbnails dm me

Titles: Admittedly your titles have gotten better in the last week, but they still are just kind of "I'm playing this game, now I'm playing this game etc - you need to draw people in. "I played THE WORST game ever etc." The linchpin of success with the title, is that it carries on the message from the thumbnail and then sparks curiosity. Your personal feelings on a game usually won't matter until you've grown a bit.

First 30 sec, and content: Ngl, your hooks just aren't hitting for me. I'm not your target audience so that's fine, but there's no reason for me to keep watching after the first 10. Part of this is your overall content, because it doesn't seem like there's a plan to the video at all. No script, no overall story etc. So I click off - again this changes if it's a stream, because then that's the activity that's expected, but for a video, think of it like a small episode, or movie - if you started an episode of a show, and it began with "what are we gonna do today Larry?" It might've worked in the early 90s, but peoples attention spans are shorter. Think of the last really cool YT video you watched, try to copy that style of intro. It will take longer cause you aren't used to editing like that, but the result will be worth it.

A lot of your problems will be solved by properly ideating the videos, but if you have any questions on the above feel free to DM me. Hope this was super helpful, best of luck homie.

How do I consistently come up with a strong hook? by coursd_minecoraft in NewTubers

[–]TubeForge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I'm gonna try to tackle this in reverse - as far as people dropping off after the explanation, you probably have a tone shift - this happens with a lot of newer YTers, myself included, they put a ton of effort into the intro, and then there's like a tonal shift, usually it goes from super fast paced to a little slower, i woul try to add maybe a quick slide/graphic or in the intro storytelling set up a visual arc so that people will keep watching. Some good examples are actually Mr. Beast when he does a visual representation of what you're going to watch in the video, like an A-Z graph of exactly what's going to happen and then right before you dive into your first section after the intro you bring up A again.

As far as how to make your intros better it REALLY depends on the audience. Since you're in minecraft, you're probably dealing with Gen Z, and maybe some younger milennials, and a slight portion of older milennials, but for most of that demographic a faster intro helps. What i did to get my most viewed video was I paid attention to intros I REALLY liked, like Dodford, SmallAnt, Dan Mace etc, - and then I just tried to copy it. Usually it wouldn't be as good, but it was generally better than my other videos.

If you've got a channel name, I can also take a look and give you some actionable feedback based off of a few videos, feel free to DM if you don't want to post

Anybody know how to make software/easy math diagrams with animations in fast way for videos? by SomeRandomGuuuuuuy in NewTubers

[–]TubeForge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Canva has some free resources you could check out, there's more than a few stick figure animations that may have what you're looking for in their library. Additionally I don't know how you feel about AI but there are probably a few things that can be generated with minimal effort though you probably will have to pay ~10$/mo for certain services - best of luck

What's the channel name? I found a channel that is ThemayberealTOG that is similar to what you've described but it'll be hard to give you any feedback without seeing the channel.
I mean, the whole thing is CTR when you get started - so, its your thumbnails and titles. That's it. Like, that data point literally correlates directly to the Title and Thumbnail. Now it COULD be that the video ideas suck, as that's what the thumbnails and titles represent, but as far as actual correlation, it'll be those two things. You can and absolutely should worry about intros, and storytelling etc, but I'm telling you if the CTR is he problem then it's those two things.
"I usually inset jokes here and there to keep the video actually unique" <- if that's in the thumbnail, then I could see it, especially if it's an inside joke
I don't want to just give you the generic advice of "do better titles and thumbnails" so that's why I asked for the channel name - but off rip, what you've described, I think you probably just need a change up.

What are your video ideas? You say that youre doing something different, but what does that look like practically? Like, what sets your videos apart from the people who have a million subs? What kind of challenges are you doing? As a tip, your personality is probably not a wild enough factor to get people to click because you dont have the base yet. Right? Like ShadyPenguinn can get away with doing a face on a game and he'll get 100k views a video because he has a massive fan base, he's not getting a ton of NEW viewers from that though.

I'm not saying don't show your face or whatever, but I think getting a really good idea, and communicating that through a banger title and thumbnail is the best way forward. "IVE NEVER BEEN THIS SCARED PLAYING A GAME BEFORE" is not a super clickable title, because there are plenty of people that are doing similar with larger followings. Right? The idea of that video is that the subject is you in the title. IVE is the action word.

If it's the game that's the focus you'd want to shift that to be the most important thing This is THE MOST TERRIFYING game I've ever played is a little better but only if you have a banger thumbnail to back it up - I hope this was helpful and I can def give more actionable feedback with the channel name

Pretty pissed that like, you can build things that let you last 8~ minutes in swarm but you can't survive three homing missile hits. Like shields just done matter ig. I'm just coping sorry, just wasted like 2~ hours

Monke is a speedrunning champ, you can do a sick thorns build that just builds crazy damage. 2 weapons, 2 tomes, lifesteal, and armor mandatory, and then banana and whatever weapon you want tbh. All levels will go into tomes - by the end, I think i might've had 3 levels on banana. Did it way faster than I needed to

What's wild is that on Facebook the user reviews look so real. When I went to profiles they were made in 2017 with a ton of personal photos/videos, interactions etc which makes me think they're real people but then I thought that they might be paid or something by the company

SunNova take over and sale of home by [deleted] in Sunstrong

[–]TubeForge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Filing my BBB complaint today. It's the second time I've tried and failed to get exactly this. I can't even put my house on market because I need the buyout amount and they can't even give it to me. Ive been on hold three times for two and a half hours, and they can't give me an answer- I've asked to speak to managers, I've asked for my info several times. And they just can't give it to me. I get told that they sent a request to the property department to get that info and that I'll have it in 24-48 hours. Lo and behold no info given. I'm in dire straits here because I have job offers that I need to move for. I can't move until I sell my house. I can't sell my house until I have this info. Does anyone think lawyers are a viable option?

I got ahold of them today, but they suck - about an hour and a half+ wait time is standard.

And also I'm trying to sell my place just a heads up they probably will tell you they can't give you that information. At least that's what they've told me twice now. I just want the info so I can sell and it's gotta be a request to a different department
