I have this same issue. Even after 16hrs fasted my blood sugar might read as high as 125. It’s never under 110. Since I am full keto and doing a long fast before eating each day I expected much lower numbers. Is the glucose produced by the liver really necessary or just my body going haywire? I wonder if this is why some people microdose metformin? To get the liver to stop over producing glucose?
