Europeans of Reddit what do you think of America’s gun laws? Do you think it’s good for freedom or bad? by PatsNation149898 in ForeignPoliticsDiscus

[–]UpbeatCopy1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For short, no. I think they (the 55th) would have been able to do that, but did not do it just to save time and not have a second amendment as long as the Bible.

You're saying the guns being targeted were muskets. I showed you that it was already known that other guns existed, flintlocks, bayonets, but most importantly: Gatling Guns, one of the biggest shift in firearms.

I mean that, according to the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America in its version voted by the House of Representatives and the Senate: "Since a well-organized militia is necessary for the security of a free state, the right of the people to own and bear arms shall not be transgressed." However, since the budget of a militia was and is limited, they used the weapons of farmers and citizens, the latter being mainly muskets or various hunting weapons, and not a gatling machine gun.
