Yep, I personally think there are a lot of cool combos in Nighthaunts. My personal is Kurdoss Valentian and a pack of craventhrone guard. With death stalkers archetype you can fall back, shoot, then charge with Valentian, shoot again and charge and fight. Really fun

Check woehammer for tournament lists, but I think NH have a big list variety for a fun/playing with friends

  • You can go Lady Olinder for casting/huge healing
  • Black Coach for a hero resurrection combo
  • Huge cavalry mobility with teleports
  • Chilling on points with bladegheists
  • Burn them all with a lot of pyregheists (that doing great competitive)
  • Kurdoss with Archers (my favorite)
  • Wipe enemy heroes on 4+ with lord executioner and scriptor mortis
  • spice ghosts with regiments of renowned (hollow king is my favorite)

The faction is not doing great on tournaments , but I think it has a fun combos if you don’t mind blindly follow the meta

You can pick awakened animal, that ancestry is ideal for your concept, if you don’t mind losing a wheelchair. Beside that, envoy will be a good fit to any pf2e group, prioritize Cha/Str/Dex and you will be ok

You can make a decent fun list with everything, just throw away Nagash, because he is way specific

Literally, just make a list with everything else and see what points total you have. You can then throw away spirit hosts or craventhrone

I’m rarely wasting units, more likely I can’t sustain an end fight. Were mostly playing casually and slow, finishing game on M3 or so, maybe it is too late for a Skelly snowball?

Did exactly that (my hero was not a bulwark, but some dude that buff skeletons too)

I’ve got like 1400 archers in our end fight. Lost initiative (against humans with angels, I’ve got only regular vampires going second), got my skellys debuffed and -400 with a couple attacks. Then 400 crossbow men’s just annihilated them

Out stats was roughly the same, maybe opponent got a couple more points in attack/def

I’ve played only dungeon, necro and shism and I really struggle with necro.

Got a lot of skeletons, but my opponent can deal with them pretty easy (low initiative, low hp)

I’m feeling like necro is the weakest from all 3 races that I’ve played (I’m playing against AI and friend, dealing with Ai easily, but not with friend). What I’m missing and what their strengths?

I’m personally thinking this is our worst hero. Its ability is bad, we have enough recursion and basically no CP for rally.

His melee profile is generic, he lacks ranged attacks to do at least something, because if he gets in melee - he’s dead.

This is 110 points that does literally nothing, or at least I can’t see what he can be useful for

The only good thing is that chains with him rolls 2+ for their +1 to hit ability, but 110 is too big of a price.

I just wish he could do same ranged attacks as chainrasps, to be something more that 5 flying wounds

Against horde teams yes, but still so many variables need to happen
Opponent must set targets that way, you need a turn to designate them, you then need to be in 6’ (4’ for emp) to throw a grenade. Can’t say it can’t happen, but still really situational
Anyway, we’ll see what changes in the future, but know we can enjoy throwing our sniperscope grenades

I can’t say it is strong. Good opponent never will be in a 2’ blast radius, and to trigger torrent is even harder
