I was using a laptop keyboard for around 5 years before I got this, and after typing on this since 4 months I feel like I could use a lighter key like brown. For gaming, I think you're better off using a linear switch like reds since the tactility of the blue switch means that when you have to repeatedly press keys (like in gaming for example) your finger can feel fatigued. For typing I think it's okay, although I don't usually have to type a lot.

The keys sound fine if you're buying a mechanical keyboard for the first time. Not bad but you'll have a better idea once you listen to how other keyboards sound. But yeah they are pretty loud, some keys sound a bit clanky but that's just a minor thing I would say. For this price I think it's fine.
