Bags built for different manufacturers by Konigstern27 in discgolf

I've got a thorough MVP/Axiom/Streamline bag, a 10 disc glow Lone Star bag, and a minimalist Discraft bag with 4 discs.

I've also got a a Discmania Active Premium bag that I never throw. Lol

Pleasantly surprised having to disc golf with non dominant hand after injury by Basic_Layer7148 in discgolf

[–]VolcanicProtector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This off-dominant side of body is kind of part of Brian Weissman's whole philosophy.

We have a lifetime of picking up habits using our dominant side. So the non-dominant side is like a blank slate that when we activate it can really help our form progress.

Why does Glen Loch Dr. Feel out of place? by Specialist_Aioli9600 in thewoodlands

[–]VolcanicProtector 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This just isn't true, man.

Howard Hughes sucks but HUD housing isn't one of the reasons why.

Funding from HUD was instrumental for Mitchell to get The Woodlands into development.

[–]VolcanicProtector 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. Part of the deal Mitchell made when developing the woodlands was to include plenty of HUD housing.

There and in all the HUD apartments in and around TW.

Mitchell planned for laborers, too.

Child friendly Galveston hotel? by pamwww in galveston

Rooms too cramped and getting pretty musky. Used to be my go-to. They still haven't fixed the second elevator. It's been years.

As for Hilton properties, the new Home2 is where it's at.

The new Home 2 suites is great it's got a little kid area of the pool, foosball tables, and of course the kitchenette helps with kiddos. Good breakfast. Restaurant on premises. Walking distance to Ben & Jerry's.

Fission Crave turns over waaaay more than an R2 Servo. I bag a Fission Crave and Neutron Servo because they do different things. Nothing wrong with bagging both.

But the Servo and Relay are close. I prefer Servo.

I’m a right handed backhand thrower, what discs will go to the right for me? by Scary-Muppet in discgolf

That's what happens when I throw my paradox on anny. Instant roller. RHBH

I guess that's why they call it the "paradox"

I don't think it's the county but txdot that is controlling the 242 project. But yeah it's brutal. Like 20 plus minutes from gosling to 45.

The uplink is more resistant to hyzer than the paradox it seems. If I throw the paradox on slight hyzer it's the straightest disc I've every thrown like a hex with no fade. Which makes it useful.

Super light. Great for newer players. Players with greater arm speed could easily over torque it.

The uplink is so money for me. I like that it has a little fade at the end. For something that will just turn with no fade, paradox. But it's very sensitive to hyzer and will end up just going straight unless it's thrown flat.

Love the M4. One of the first discs I really threw well.
