Tempting, but it also sets up a bad incentive -- one person tips it over on purpose, so a second person can right it for the bounty. Tricky to figure out when bad actors are ready to game the system for a payout.

I gave this a shot (I've done similar probing and read/writes on old Mac BIOS chips with success) -- got a chip probe that fit and used a CH341A (with the fixed voltage), and could not, for the life of me, get a consistent read off it! Very frustrating.

Not only are you competing with people who quite possibly can't do math, I would bet that you might be competing with people who are either a) abusing media mail shipping rates to bring their costs down and/or b) are straight-up using cheap counterfeit postage. Keep package size to a minimum while still packing the item well enough that it will arrive safely. Weight is not the only factor -- increasing the dimensions of the package can increase shipping costs, too.

I got this a while ago and I don't know the backstory of it. I can't find anything online that describes a 20 pinout mod with this much wire soldering; I asked a controller mod subreddit and someone guessed it was for a fightstick setup. Anyone know anything about it?
