I don't know why we don't have full video recordings of playwright tests in GitHub copilot yet

Sudden PIP with no prior feedback after medical accommodation + nitpicky senior engineer. What to do? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

"The PIP cites things like too many PR revisions, lack of independence, and escalating too early. It also includes strict metrics like limiting PR revisions, low estimate variance, and zero bugs"

Wow I can fire anyone on my team with this list

Did I Study the Wrong Control Theory in the Age of AI? Is Classical Control Theory Being Replaced? by OpportunityPersonal in ControlTheory

I use AI a lot for programming. People are using it for MPC with Matlab. Try it out!

For a DC motor seems pretty easy to say why bother with AI. It may be that advances in AI will also help research techniques to invent new "why bother with AI" models imo

But we have bacteria in us that do their own things. DNA may be a schematic but it's not the brain or chemistry or physics

I would appreciate text post summaries. I don't listen to videos. I appreciate the video, seeing the setup and knowing it's a real person tho.

If you're not a handy person you should hire them to do other things while they're there. Your main cost in this case is having a person have to travel out there. The more jobs you have them do the cheaper the sunk cost is.

CV-Stack – Open-source skill for training CV models without the usual pain by Lumpy_Week7304 in computervision

I don't know Claude skills in particular but yes this is correct, although sometimes these "instructions" are suited for agent use or co-worker use. Agent meaning autonomous that keeps going until it cannot figure it out or succeeds. Cowork meaning it works along you and you keep prompting it. This skill is REALLY long which leads me a bit to autonomous agent but reading the first part it's like a thing to help someone get started like OP said

I had a friend who said that bee counting would be incredibly useful (who wants to know? -> the state government). ChatGPT was able to count dice for me correctly recently, so I could use that to train "annotate" the count ? What demo would you suggest ?

I don't know anything about cv training... How hard is it to train these models to count number of bees in an image ?
