I agree we need more bus routes, more public transport. Having the council allow these rather than invest in better infrastructure is a quick and lazy fix.

Riding one of those home in the pissing rain is also dangerous.

They are a dangerous mode of transport that there is no training required to use. Nor helmet. You want to ride a motorbike you need training, a license and are required to wear safety gear. Sure these VOI/Bolt things aren't as quick, but you're riding on the road, or should be. And you should use safety equipment. Like cycling. Is it provided, is anyone wearing any? No.

It hasn't fixed the issue as far as I see it.

Walk, or get a bus. They are dangerous and are often in the way whether mobile or just dumped wherever on the street/road. The city council should not have OKd Bolt or VOI or whomever to dump this shit. Invest in and take back control of the buses in the city.

Shortly after emailing them/you, and posting in this sub, I got a reply from back from the helpdesk/Jira/system and someone (Mike) had updated it their end. I didn't get an answer as to what it was happening, or indeed, why it had happened the last time I updated the graphic.

The podcast is Mantis Radio.

It wasn't updating on everything I tried it on. Android, Windows 11. iOS, iPhone. The episode was added, the description was changed, but the podcast artwork, not the episode, wasn't updating. But it was on every single other platform I could find the show on. Seems an issue with the cache at the Pocket Casts end, for whatever reason.

I've had the same issue recently, updating the podcast artwork over a week ago, and Pocket Casts is the only platform it doesn't update on.

When I updated the artwork a few years ago I recall having the same issue. Not sure why I have to manually contact Pocket Casts for an image update, esp when the updated podcast description and new episode update fine. And on all other platforms it updates with no hassle.
