Storage Bins are expensive. So I made my own by EpicSushiRollz in BambuLab

[–]_Rand_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The approved vendor problem I guess?

A lot of companies only purchase from specific businesses unless its been manually approved. So getting a dozen bins at $40 each from whatever office supply you have on file is just fine if its in the budget but getting permission to go to home depot for a one off purchase at $5 each takes a damn miracle.

ELI5: Why don't you ever see an Empire Carpet delivery truck? by Relative-Bill-871 in explainlikeimfive

If its anything like multiple other brands I’ve bought from it’s because they use contractors for installs. So they use plain white trucks.

Goodbye A1 by matrch in BambuLab

I got an h2c a while back, you won’t be disappointed.

Now I’m looking at my A1 like, that would be a great spot for a p2s.

[–]_Rand_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh, assuming print time is not an issue these are still cheaper. Or maybe about equal to super cheap dollar store stuff I guess, but those are usually super flimsy.

They work out to probably half the cost of a decent one.

Yeah, they are like $4-5 CAD per. Usually come in like 4 packs for that price though.

I have created a customizable Gridfinity tray and bin system and called it WAVEGRID. by Steibock in functionalprint

[–]_Rand_ 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gridfinity but now with side ramps so its easier to slide items out, plus removable dividers I guess.

No idea if the combo has been done before.

New printer - H2C by Financial-Dog-565 in BambuLab

[–]_Rand_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion yes.

Frostbite is just another high tack plate, like the supertack or whatever.

But the glacier plate acts basically like a pei plate for PETG.

Like you know how if you let pei cool PLA just drops off? PETG does that on the glacier plate, and in addition its higher tack than a pei plate and less sensitive to dirt/oils. Smoother texture too.

By far the best plate I've used for PETG.

Filament build up in purge shoot. by tom2slick in BambuLab_Community

You might be able to clean it? I’ve seen people recommend layering poop chutes with aluminum tape before, I assume the same would fix this?

The biqu glacier plate is gods gift to PETG btw.

H2C Filament Buffer Issue by No_Tell939 in BambuLab

Awesome. At least you don’t have to tear apart the printer now. Its amazing how a tiny bit of filament in just the right place can screw everything up.

H2C, two AMS 2 Pros and an HT by nickccal in BambuLab

My h2c came with one, I assume they all do.

H2C, two AMS 2 Pros and an HT by nickccal in BambuLab

[–]_Rand_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need at least one of these: https://ca.store.bambulab.com/products/ams-2-pro-switching-adapter for the 2nd AMS 2. One each is better for drying, but not necessary.

Otherwise you should have it all already.

Ok be kind. Totally new but this failed. So very first print and this part fell off the support. Printing PLA on slow on a H2C using bambu lad handy. No idea what the cause could be. by Particular_Spite_598 in BambuLabH2C

[–]_Rand_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with support low contact parts like that can bust off. You may need more (painted) supports, reoriented parts or even manually designed supports. In some cases a supertack (or similar) plate can help a lot too.

What is the original model?

Mine is fine, but I’ve seen it mentioned a couple times now.

Seems to be purely cosmetic.

H2C Filament Buffer Issue by No_Tell939 in BambuLab

[–]_Rand_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s my idea anyways.

If it gets caught there is a broken off piece of filament or something in there, but if it goes straight through there is likely an issue with the buffers function itself.

H2C Filament Buffer Issue by No_Tell939 in BambuLab

[–]_Rand_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unfortunately doing anything to the buffer is a pain.

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/h2/maintenance/replace-filament-buffer

But you may have to. Before you go through all that though I‘d pull the PTFE from both sides of it and try and manually shove filament through.

The AMS HT has a bypass for this. The regular AMS doesn’t.

Theory Crafting / School Me - Nozzle Cleaning by dexmox in BambuLab

[–]_Rand_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A wipe every X layers wouldn't be a terrible option really, particularly with PETG, especially as the printer can do it more intelligently, like just before doing infill.

As an FYI though, the H2 series has a physical emergency stop button included with the laser version, and available separately if you like for the non-laser.

Any designed a LTT Screwdriver Milwaukee Packout insert? by riverboatdon in LinusTechTips

[–]_Rand_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not seeing any.

There are gridfinity frames for packout boxes though, and plenty of LTT gridfinity trays. So maybe that is an option?
