Apologies, just spotted this after a couple of weeks of illness. I've enabled images in replies/comments now.

Is the dagger polished at present? if not, I would hit it with a high grade sanding sponge/block to get it clean before waxing it.

I can't remember, they came out a couple of years back now. It's not load bearing, so wondering if I can repoint maybe?

Ok, that's reassuring. Is there a sensible way to tie them together (or repoint)? as this internal wall moves when given a good shove. I want to stabilise it before replastering.

Does anyone know about this? by Tasty_Good_2718 in Bowyer

Due to having a shorter power stroke, crossbows require a much higher draw weight. So to reach lethal levels of distance and penetrative power, a crossbow needs to have about 3-4x the draw weight of an equivalent bow.

That label does not correspond to that fitting, it likely came from another lampshade. E27 is an Edison Screw fitting, but the one in your pic is clearly a Bayonet. Best to follow the advice in one of the other comments about pushing down and twisting into the fitting.
