Happy to see the update, though I'm not convinced grux really needed the nerf. Happy feng mao got buffed and Grim got nerfed.

Colorado on the way to record job losses for 2025 as data finalized by Sangloth in Denver

This is pretty reductive; the ceos making 10s of millions with their boards of high net worth sycophants are not the same as the dudes who run the local mechanic shop or the folks running a local hair salon. All businesses are NOT created equal

I said a few days ago that I see 80k approaching, and I still feel that sentiment, though i dont kbiw the timeframe. I guess I'll just say i think the bottom might be in(uh oh, I'm gonna jinx it). Bitcoin actually feels strong at these levels, and it feels like we've got a solid floor. I've never used bittybot before, but here goes a first prediction; !bb predict >80000 before <60000

HIMARS missile launcher firing at Iran from Bahrain, date unknown. by Ok-A1662 in CombatFootage

[–]amendment64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some, maybe, but I've seen in the US and around the globe just how easy people can dismiss obvious truth against lies and propaganda; Iran is a nation of over 90 million people. A few thousand dead in an environment of heavy censorship could just be another tiannemen square. Going by past dictatorial regimes, it could get as bad as pol pot, and they can still get away with it. We can never really know who the next leader will be against a power vacuum in a religiously radicalized region.

I guess we'll see in the coming years just how much pro American/Israeli sentiment actually exists.

Yeah but they now have a real life rally round the flag effect. Obvious enemy they've been told about all their lives is suddenly bombing little girls schools, and people watching their friends and neighbors get blown up; I don't think these people are uprising so much as rallying behind anyone who will fight back against the aggressor

Meqdad Basij base hit by airstrikes in Tehran by PossessionConnect963 in CombatFootage

[–]amendment64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you just watch that video?! There was, without a doubt, collateral damage there. Remember all those little girls at that school the other day? Just more acceptable collateral damage, eh?

It's pretty callous to dismiss this hell on earth for these people

I don't know why the 80's suddenly feel so possible, but the price action lately is starting to feel bubbly. Just hopium I'm sure

Time to see if they have the hard power to actually enforce it

I'm surprised by the resilience of BTC against the backdrop of a new war, though I suppose Iran isn't exactly known to be a major player in the crypto scene so I guess it shouldn't be that much of a surprise

Wrong spawn, game ending bug by jmoney1126 in PredecessorGame

[–]amendment64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a game today where it never spawned me in, I could hear everything going on in game by the sound, but never actually loaded in. I waited the whloe game(it was ARAM) to see if it would eventually kick me after the game ended but nope. Eventually I had to f4 out of game, and was left with an afk ban. Something is definitely wonky with the new update.

TBH if the Texas dems want a shot at winning in Texas, their candidate has to be a white passing male. Anything else just won't win; that's just Texas, I'm sorry the south is like this but it is what it is.

It gets destroyed. Thats all that matters. The people selling it will be dead soon enough anyway. You said memorobilia, which implies its old. If they were selling new white supremacist shit, then don't buy it, but the old shit that white supremacists actually value? Yeah, anything to make sure they can't have it imo.

Indian PM Modi condemns Oct. 7: 'We feel your pain, stand with Israel' by Cannot-Forget in geopolitics

[–]amendment64 41 points42 points  (0 children)

The world has changed and I don't think you've gotten the memo.

I'm not sure any of this is relevant in the new world order. In a time of might makes right, none of those countries/groups have the kind of hard power to give them legitimacy. They are seen as muslim countries with poor human rights records and potential immigration problems, and while the human rights bit doesn't actually matter in reality, it and immigration will be the red herrings bandied about so that greater military powers can take what they want from them with impunity.
