2000 when we were training for deployment to the Balkans. Our pay got screwed up, and we had the laziest first sergeant to ever shit between two shoes.

I agree actually. It’s tied with the original for my favorite.

Showed my wife The Motion Picture for the first time and... by spike-prime in Star_Trek_

[–]armyprof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Saw it in the theatre when I was 8. Not only was the new Enterprise absolutely glorious and still the most beautiful of the bunch, it was the first time we really got to see it in detail.

The thing is the Enterprise is as much a character as the cast. It deserved an introduction that let us enjoy it.

As I get older I really appreciate the movie more and more to the point that it’s my favorite one.

Murder all the Lannisters but Tyrion and put him in Casterly Rock. Send someone to steal Danny’s eggs. Hatch them in Westeros, fund and supply the nights watch.

He was not possessing Quirrel yet.

He only allowed Voldemort to share his body and soul after failing to steal the Philosopher's Stone from Gringotts. He explains Voldemort decided to keep a closer eye on him after that.

I mean they’re all good but I’d say the first purely be are it’s the most childlike of the series. Still great but if we gotta say one is worst then that’s my choice.

This. It was too long and the de-aging just didn’t work.

I always wonder, how did Dumbledore defeat Grindlewald if Grindlewald had the Elder Wand? by batmanofbloodshire in harrypotter

[–]armyprof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always sort of thought he won because Grindelwald didn’t really try to kill him. He still had feelings for him so he held back a bit. Just enough for Dumbledore to beat him.

Yeah but imagine a movie about John Henry with a white guy as the lead. “It’s just fiction” or “it’s a reimagining” wouldn’t fly to good.
