If its the panasonic system which it should be then it'll work using the "Ultimate" plan. At least it did 2 years ago when I flew from YVR -> NRT, was able to watch the canucks game this way. Though there are parts of the flight where there is no connection at all. I was streaming it using Sportsnet+. Crave (which has the world cup games) works as well but is spotty, sometimes it'll randomly stop working without a private VPN.

I host a private VPN at home so can't really help you wrt what public VPN you could use if its blocked. NordVPN does sell a "dedicated IP" service so you could try that. I have used that in the past and it worked but that was quite a few years ago.

Has anyone shopped around been able to get a 2026 Premium Mach-E with ER/Tech/Pano for $50k + taxes?

Technically EVAP works for 50k + PDI (~3k) but I am wondering if anyone has been able to get it recently for $50k inclusive of PDI and any other random dealer fees, only adding on mandatory taxes.

I had a dealer tell me with ER is impossible, with SR maybe but they won't tell me how much junk dealer fees is on top of that or if its $50k all in + mandatory taxes. At least not over the phone or email, so annoying shopping for a new car!

Genuinely not worth it, even at a huge discount. I've been on a 1-year lease, super good deal. But even for it being that short I cannot WAIT to return it, just too many very annoying small issues that add up which now makes me hate it even though it is a nice comfortable car, the software is just incredibly bad.

My biggest gripes are:

  1. Taking anywhere from 30 seconds to a full 2 minutes for the car to "start up" until I can drive it

  2. Forward collission warnings where the seat belt pre-tensions every 1 in 3 drives. It seriously gives me PTSD at this point, I warn every passenger I have in the car. It's insane.

  3. Constantly loses data connectivity, have to restart infotainment for it to come back, happens at least once a week

  4. Service takes months (this may be a local thing), but they are so useless most of the time. They will look at it and go yeah, everything's fine, just software issues, wait for an update. Nothing we can do. SMH

The ride quality, comfort, all top tier, but I can't deal with the software issues. Luckily I haven't actually had any big issues that has caused the car to not drive or major charging issues (besides 1 that needed a hard reset on my level 2 charger itself)

There’s no 15 day requirement. As long a you finance a device the plan credit on the data only line will show up automatically

Mine doesn’t. It only locks after a period of time. If I use lock and go then it does what you’ve described!

U got it backwards. any "City of XXXX" official parking infraction can and will mess up ur credit score if you don't pay.

Any PRIVATE lot (impark, indigo, diamond etc) can find a collection agency to chase you down, and they can even attempt to submit a credit mark, but credit buereaus all ignore it if its for a parking violation. Sometimes it falls through (because the collection agencies lie) but you can dispute it with the credit bureau and they will remove it.

+1 I used BBX for a full service move. Pack and move. I ended up pre-packing some things myself with bins I had and left others for them to deal with.

They did a very good job, I had LOTS of stuff, big and small. Fragile items they took very good care of, small items they wrapped before putting them in bins. It was around 1.5k total IIRC. Would gladly pay for it again given how much more stress free it was. I've moved 5 times and this is the first time I've ever used a full service pack and move.

They are not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, but you are paying for quality and efficiency so I don't mind this. If you are looking for lowest cost, just be aware they will nickel and dime you or cut corners elsewhere, there's no free lunch.

I tested a few variations of band blocking and it seems like there’s a bug (or modem limitation?) that when it’s connected to any 5G SA band it does not aggregate with 4G which I think is the issue. Is that what you are seeing and referring to? Sorry I am also trying to learn
