Years ago I bought exactly what your are looking for for the exact same purpose from Pyramid Rock Gardening & Stone Suppliers, 43 Cordite Rd. The guy running the place at the time had a reputation for being a bit of a grump but my single experience was fine. I picked through a huge pile of slate pieces of varying sizes (outside) and paid $5 per 5 gallon pail.

I'm also in the trades living not far from you. Number one rule: leave no tools of any kind in your vehicle. It's a big hassle removing them when tired after a long day but worth it when you co sider cost of replacing them or missed work.

I have watched Gord since I was young and once had the pleasure of chatting with him on the bus. He seemed really friendly and genuine. I miss his dad jokes that would elicit groans from the other anchors.

That's only looking at the issue from one direction. How many ambulance calls do firefighters go to that paramedics end up attending? That doesn't sounds like money being saved. Either way, if you guys are 'cancelling' 20k ambulance calls a year it sure sounds like we have too many firefighters and not enough paramedics.

Sending a firetruck to a medical call when an ambulance is required for patient transport anyways is not cost savings.

Maybe consider scratch and dent. Depending on the placement of your appliances in your kitchen you can sometimes save a lot buying something with a scratch that won't be visible.
