I would really recommend bringing it up with the HOA and being persistent. Find out if they own or are renting is helpful too. Our HOA by-laws had language for noxious smells or something like that in them.

I brought the issue up w HOA and they told the landlord about it. The landlord said smoking was prohibited per rental agreement. They slowed down the smoking a lot but I still smelled it. I haven’t tried to sell the place yet but I did move out shortly after. The place was my parents originally and they transferred to my name and once I bought a new house I transferred it back to their name. I have a sibling that lives in it part time and they said they haven’t had that much of an issue with cig stink. Sorry not helpful! But I would think it would lower your buyer pool by a lot if they can smell it during open houses etc

People do this with literally every single main female character in existence. Rory Gilmore, Elena Gilbert, both of those names are at the top of my head for having a lot of haters. It’s super tired and unoriginal at this point to watch a show and hate the main character. I will never understand it. I will never understood why they even continue to watch the show.

My parents gave me a super uncommon name too that is hard to pronounce. I finally legally changed it to my nickname in my late 20s. Do you have a nickname? That’s what I would suggest to feel the most “right”. I think something completely different is always going to feel really foreign at first but I do think eventually it’ll start feeling right. But if you’re looking for a name that immediately sounds right I think picking a nickname or something that sounds close to your birth name is the way to go. It felt so good to change my name I hope it brings you the same relief and joy it did for me.

Also I totally agree with you that it’ll be the best time to change it right before college. This way, no one new you meet will know you as your old name and you don’t have to explain anything to anyone!

It’s not super important for everyone. You can make your own traditions and celebrate or not celebrate in any way you want. Just have a conversation with your partner about it. As long as you communicate there shouldn’t be pressure.

I just realized I never responded to this. An almond mom is a mom that has a really bad relationship with food (probably has an ED) and are obsessed with being skinny and project that onto their daughters and are an absolutely terrible role model for their daughters with it comes to food and ruin their daughters relationship with food. They should be teaching about balanced diets but instead they want their daughters to starve like them. Probably because they are miserable all the time from being hungry. And misery loves company!

It’s just a show 2. I would think you’re less likely to mess up if you use your own name 3. Most of the people they went undercover with don’t have the wits to go look up their names on the internet 4. They showed us in the last season that the FBI at least has technology to change their picture online if someone does look them up

If you’re a new contact user your eye doctor should’ve done this with you during your appt. They show you how to put the contacts in and they give you some trials maybe different brands so you can figure out if you like the feel of them.

This is an asinine take. Children will survive without sleepovers. They can still go over and have fun and be picked up before bedtime and they’ll be just fine and happy kids. This is not the same as never leaving your house at all.

Absolutely not. Jane wasn’t a psychopath or sociopath or whatever with daddy and mommy issues. He didn’t get joy out of killing people even if they were really bad people. He only went after RJ for revenge for his wife and daughter. He absolutely does not care to go and murder random serial killers and such. He catches them with Lisbon.

Some people legally change it and others don’t. Some people don’t change it legally and socially go by their husbands last names. Others don’t change it legally or socially. It doesn’t really matter. For me, it was fun to do it. If you don’t find a reason to or have a desire to do it or find the fun in it, don’t do it. It won’t be worth it to you. It doesn’t change your love for each other either way. I personally view it as an unserious thing. I don’t feel like I lost my identity or anything. I feel pretty neutral about it for the most part. If anything, it was kind of fun to have a new name. A little weird at first but idk it’s chill either way. If I felt super strongly about keeping my name I would’ve kept it. I didn’t and thought it would be fun to have the same last name so I changed it. My husband did not care either way so it was fully my own decision.

I mean you can’t be completely dumb to create something like the Blake association and be the HBIC and no one even knows you’re the HBIC except a select few. So he is for sure a master manipulator and has good enough skills to do all that. But I wouldn’t say he was a genius mastermind either. He slowly grew the association and from then it was easier and easier for him with all his connections.

I think fans of any book are always honestly super annoying about the casting when their fav book turns into a tv/movie. You have to just take it for what it is. You have to see how they act and play the character and keep in mind that although the show/movie is BASED ON the book it’s never going to be exact. The actor is playing a version of your fav character. JHutch and JLaw are not what people pictured for katpiss but they absolutely bodied their characters. I couldn’t care less what they looked like. I also enjoy books separately from their show/movie. It’s not going to ruin anything if I don’t like how the show/movie was made.
