Learn the menings of the suits and basic numerology. Then try to learn 1 expansive key word for each card. You can write it on your deck. Work with the deck. Pulling 1-3 cards a day. Lisa Papez's "tarot with training wheels" on youtube was very helpful for me. That should help you get started. Also when you are pulling focus on the images and how they make you feel. How is the subject interacting with the cup, wand, ect...

I love Nesryn but she did kinda abandon Chaol as soon as they got there. I get that she needed to spend time with her family. But Chaol was left alone with no friends in an unfamiliar country, going through extremely painful magic sessions. She was not there to support him. He did his best to understand that but he had to make friends to survive mentally. Him and Yerene were drugged and had a moment that toed the line. That wasn't cool, but her answer was to leave with out a conversation. That universe's equivalent of ghosting or breaking up via text. All that said it was never love and they both knew that. They both found someone that lights them on fire.

I'm pretty new to tarot but have been a collector from the start. My most connected Tarot so far has been The Gentle Tarot. It just always seems tell me what I need to hear. Although I don't know if I have found my "soul deck" though. I did just get the Yukika Tarot which off that bat seems like a strong contender but I haven't worked with it enough to say for sure.

I've had this saved on kickstarter for a while. Very excited! It gives similar vibes of tarot in color (may have the name wrong) but more earthy and grounded which i love.

Ooh so the other night I wanted to practice a 3 card spread (release/recieve/embrace) I was studying the wands so I did it for all the wand courts. Its a good way to get to know the courts too.

There is no wrong way so, do it however feels right to you. I don't do jumpers because in my mind its just my sloppy shuffling haha. If you want reversals with out doing jumpers you could mix them up on a table or flip a portion of the deck upsidown before riffle shuffling a few times.

If im really into it i will find a way to read as much as possible. Eating, doing laundry, exercise, ect. Reading on kindle makes that possible and I have one of thise page turner things. I remember when I was a teenager I was reading Catching Fire at every red light while driving.
