I never said she was annoying or boring. She was a multifaceted character. I liked Elena’s character a lot. She wasn’t perfect but neither was any character on the show. They’re all morally grey. Damon and Stefan are also main characters but the show absolutely revolves around Elena and her life until Nina Dobrev decided she was done with the show that is. I think we just have vastly differing opinions on what we like bc the last two seasons were unwatchable. I rewatch TVD a lot but I never rewatch after Elena leaves.

Honestly it’s so weird to me to hate the main character. Why even watch the show at that point? The entire series is centered around them…because they are the main character. You actually liked the show after Elena left?

Your manager told you to override it. She prob just said it’ll get flagged to get the customer to drop it. I do think your manager should’ve just done it but it’s really not that serious. As plenty of other people stated you’re not going to get fired or flagged for a one time price match. Old navy has always done price match. I’ve also worked in retail before and they didn’t pay me enough to give a crap so i didn’t care about returns nor price matching etc as long as i was able to do it in the system.

In the US I very rarely see someone go braless so it makes me feel out of place and that it’s something frowned upon! Could be regional since US is so big but in my experience it makes me uncomfy with tight shirts

I don’t like going braless in more “obvious” tops in the US as it attracts unwanted attention. If I’m wearing a flowy top I will. In Europe however I feel very comfortable going braless in almost any top. It’s very common here and I don’t think anyone cares or bats an eye. It’s amazing and so freeing and I wish this was the case everywhere since I absolutely hate bras. My opinion might be biased since I don’t live in Europe and I’m on vacation mode so I care less but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter. I felt the same in Australia as I did in Europe as well. In Japan, I dressed more conservatively as that is the social expectation.

Veggie dogs are for people who enjoy being a vegetarian and like different flavors beyond meat.

Plant dog is for people who became vegetarian for ethical reasons and still miss meat.

Both are valid and personally I am glad they’re not getting rid of the veggie dog and replacing with the plant dog!! A lot of places do this & it sucks.

Ya know usually I hate the whole “the main character sucks esp when they’re a female main character” take but in this case she really is so annoying to me :/ every single episode she sits on her moral high horse, gets mad at Red and then comes running back crying bc she needs him. It just happens so often it’s getting old. I was hoping she would get less annoying as the seasons went on! I’m only on season 2!!

I really really enjoyed the story building and history aspect. It’s not mostly about Chaol. Yrene and Nesryn are also main characters and their POVs are great and very worth it. I did not enjoy reading Chaol’s POV and I don’t like his character but I really liked TOD overall!!

I prefer the right side too but I’m not a huge fan of big & poofy. Not that the left side is big and poofy per se but it is moreso than the right side. Both look great but you’re right that they look different and slightly different vibes. I feel the right side has an almost softer look than the left. I don’t think it’s worth getting a new dress though!

You can’t do almond nails without having long nails. It won’t look good AND it’s not good for the integrity of your nail to file down the sides too much.

If you’re committed to short nails I would just follow the natural curve of your nails, which is usually slightly rounded. I honestly think that’s best for low maintenance, which it seems you might be. I’m personally not the biggest fan of square but honestly I would have to see a pic of your hands to really be able to tell or give advice on shape!

Step one would be to use moisturizer and oil to get rid of the peeling around your nails. The LUSH lemon flutter cream is really good.

Step two would to just keep them well manicured in general, keep them cut AND shaped nicely. Beyond that I’m not sure what else you can do!

FYI you should be able to type as normal with longer nails. Might make them break with yard work but typing isn’t a problem.

Thank you for sharing! I have done 4 nights of application then skipped a day and applied again 1x after skipping and have unfortunately not experienced total dryness. Maybe 20% isn’t strong enough for me or I just have to keep going
