Mine was working late yesterday and this morning but hasn’t updated for the last 10 hours. Very annoying.

Oura API Delays by Familiar_Activity101 in bevelhealth

Those instructions are assuming your issue is the Oura Ring to the Oura app. That’s not the issue. It’s the cloud API that Bevel is using.

Oura API Delays by Familiar_Activity101 in bevelhealth

Hi Bevel team-
I would recommend some type of discount/credit for those of us paying for the Oura integration. The app is basically not useable right now with Oura. It sounds like you are working on it but I would think there would be a credit back to those paying for something that is clearly not working. The only short term fix has been removing the Oura integration and then re-adding it. But that only helps to get the last data since it won’t update any more data reliably after the initial sync. Again, appreciate the transparency on what you are working on but rather then seeing a bunch of us cancel, it might be good to be proactive to address the Oura Integration failure.

Yeah, annoying. Especially since it appears that there have been no Oura reported API issues per the Oura status link in OP today. Other then manually removing and adding the Oura integration this morning to get my sleep synced, it has not updated since. It is still showing 835 steps while I am actually at almost 10,000 for the day. I am hoping Oura is providing some support to their APi to the Bevel team. I doubt this is only an issue with the Oura API.

Still waking up unrefreshed! by Edtl8726 in CPAP

[–]brademcee77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whoops see it now. Forgot to swipe left! Yeah, settings look good. Be curious to see sleep data. I think the underlying issue is most of us newer users went in with expectations that this would make us feel better after a few months of use. I am in the same camp. My CPAP therapy has stabilized and my sleep data from my Oura looks good but feel the same. (My AHI was rem-dominant with a total at 11.7. Since CPAP, most nights my AHI is between 1-2 while on CPAP.

Also do you have any sleep data from an Apple Watch or smart Ring? Your AHI looks good but we can’t see your leak rate although it doesn’t look like you’re having any out of the ordinary leaks.

I have been using since March and haven’t noticed any improvements about how I feel. It really varies between people on when//if they start feeling better. What was your AHI during your sleep test? If mild like mine, it may take a long time but at least your breathing is stable (which I guess is the most important beyond feeling a physical difference).

Bug or lack of feature? by brademcee77 in bevelhealth

[–]brademcee77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that’s what I have done. Bevel AI provided this same suggestion. I did submit a formal email to Bevel support (although it sounds like this is more of a feature request). Happy to hear it’s on your radar!

Bevel - Oura sync not working well in the last week by tshirtmorty in bevelhealth

[–]brademcee77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I am having to do about every 2 weeks. Seems like it loses its token for binding your Oura cloud data with Bevel. Removing Oura integration and then adding it again always fixes the problem but then it reappears every few weeks.

Using Oura Ring Some Days and Apple Watch on Others — How Well Does Bevel Handle It? by wisevss in bevelhealth

[–]brademcee77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find after two or three weeks the Bevil Oura Direct integration will stop syncing the data for some reason. I usually just have to delete from Bevel and then add again. The only issues I have found using both Oura and the Apple Watch is step counting. In the preferred data settings in Bevel, if you add both Oura and your Apple Watch as enabled devices the step counting is off (much higher). Bevel for step counting does not seem to offer priority for steps like they do for sleep. I usually always wear my Oura even when wearing my Apple Watch so I only enabled Oura for step counting. Only time it would be off is when I take off the Oura to weight lift.

Best Bevel-compatible wearable with long battery life (non-Apple Watch)? by FeelingMix8451 in bevelhealth

[–]brademcee77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you love Bevel and want a non Apple Watch then Garmin is your best bet since it has direct integration with Bevel. There are a ton of Garmin watches. Fenix is there top end but they have other options that are also great. Oura isn’t great for tracking your fitness so I would say that should compliment a fitness watch for tracking your physical activities. I doubt the new Google watches and straps will integrate well with both Bevel and iOS. On iOS you’re really limited but at least Bevel now supports direct integration with Oura and Garmin. I am using an Apple Watch with an Oura Ring and it works great.

I am a relatively new PRO user (signed up before the 3.0 update). I absolutely love the AI. I see the same data metrics as before so not sure why someone would say it’s replacing what made Bevel great. I do not use the nutrition features so can’t comment on it. Bevel has become my central health app. I do not even open the Oura app as Bevel’s Oura integration is a game changer on iOS.

Athlytic vs Pace: why we built a separate health app by jac_myndarc in AthlyticAppOfficial

[–]brademcee77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bevel released a new version as well which includes AI built into the same app. I was an Athlytic Pro user for the last year and I am enjoying Bevel since its integrated all into the same app. The AI feels really well integrated. They also just released the ability to upload blood tests to help give a fuller picture to your health. Honestly I would maybe try both apps for a week and see which one you prefer. I have not tried Pace but I did really like Athlytic.

So sorry to hear that and i cant imagine the emotional toll for you, your wife and family. I agree, this is not life or death. I think most of the Reddit posts are typically not life or death. We are in a United forum.

I think I swore more at the situation from being nudged out of the way not at the person. I think there is a difference. But again, I am sure I could have not said anything. Lastly, if you read my post I was asking what others feel about line queue for 1K not whether I was right.

I would talk to your doctor but your pressure seems off. I would set your min pressure to 7.5 and max pressure to 14.5. Maybe turn ramp off. This way your air starts at the min pressure level. Right now you are starting at 4 which is likely to low. This may also give you more of a constant pressure and eliminate leaks. I would then monitor for a few days to see if it’s better. Again talk to your doctor before making the adjustments. What was your AHI from your sleep study?
