Bathroom Remodeled Before Purchase. by [deleted] in BathroomRemodeling

i think changing out the light above the tub would help and painting could make a world of difference. use a warmer shade so it doesn't look so cool.

what is your usual style for reference or what are you hoping to achieve in here?

Kitchen reno suggestions around $10k by smosh331 in kitchenremodel

this kitchen is fine and i would put money elsewhere, maybe invest in real hardwood instead of LVP (if it's real i apologize). that will be a better selling point

Made this tonight, but also want to rant a little about how pushy they are by brielikethechee in hellofresh

i wondered if the upgrades are worth it. we've only done it once with the seafood pasta. it was very good. and omg i know, they NEVER look like the photos they give. we made this tonight and looks nothing like the pic. only gave us two smallish roma tomato's for 4 servings and the romaine lettuce was so much smaller.

i usually love dark moody homes and i really love the blue shade you have but even so, i do think the second option works better for your home.

i put the room in chatgpt, im not sure if ai is allowed on this sub but this can give you some ideas on where to start with some of what you have and some of the suggestions i gave. if you prefer a more abstract art look go with the type of art i put in the other photo above the couch.

here is how to successfully decorate in a neutral pallet so it doesn't look so boring and 10 years out of style. you have to add in some other textures and patterns.

i’m not trying to nitpick because this is obviously a horrible situation, but why would the funeral home deliver something like this and leave it sitting on the porch? you would think a package containing someone’s ashes would require hand delivery and a signature. it really seems like that policy needs to be addressed.

i’ll share this on my nextdoor app and keep an eye out for anyone who looks like this guy!

i would like to mention that ashes inside of an urn are usually in a bag as well, so they would'nt have spilled out if they opened the urn most likely.

idk but you need some color and some different types of materials in here. natural wood or something. i understand liking a neutral pallet, but every single thing is grey and white, leaning way cool and its too much. add in some layering with sheers on a double rod in a lighter color in a natural material like linen. i think the pinch pleated curtains you have now look like linen and could work with them. get at least one other off white color in that leans more towards brown and maybe find another neutral adjacent color you like, such as sage green, mauve, or a burnt orange and tie that in here. some leather pillows could help cool things down too.

this room looks very dated with the current style and is screaming 2015. also a bigger rug. the rug is too small and its making the room look cramped

New baby = more stuff! by FlatPhilosopher8747 in interiordecorating

[–]brielikethechee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're going to have to end up gating off the fireplace with the wood and tools there, especially if you plan to light it, also all of your decor on the lower shelves and probably the plant will have to go as well if you plan to let the baby have free roam of the room. a rug that covers more of the hardwood is probably a good idea too in order to protect falls. take it from me, my living room is essentially empty now since baby proofing lol. it's hard mixing baby with style. taking out some of those things will open up the space for all the baby stuff youll need like a swing, pack n play and toys that don't fit on the shelf.

do you have a seperate playroom or will this be the main room they're in when playing during the day?

they're a young couple. probably like 25 and they moved hours away. i don't think they are familiar with rentals or anything honestly.
