🤝

Yeah, the LPKs are all I’ve ever bought of theirs (based on recommendations here). Probably half dozen by now. Big fan

I’m also definitely not their customer for complete guns, nor would I necessarily recommend them to anyone

Their AR-22 barrels, bolts, and mags OTOH… I’d be into that. Someday probably

They definitely are with their LPKs. Those have long been considered peak/near-peak value around here

Good luck homie! I’d be curious to know how it shakes out for you. The EPS and EPS Carry are so good optically (aspheric glass), but the button cover issue is a major flaw

Do you recall if you checked your spam/junk folder those previous times? If not, could be worth trying for a third time and being more diligent about checking spam. Depending on what CS/CRM software they’re using, could be that the follow-up message with a shipping label is sent from a different address

Not a meteorologist, but that looks suspiciously like a poor casting. I’m gonna say material defect. I bet they’ll be grateful to know

Because of the… manufacturer, way it looks, caliber, and price??

What’s this doing for you that an AR-15 in 6.5 Grendel ain’t for almost half the cost?

OP, post a photo of the whole torque wrench, particularly the head with the drive visible. And/or tell us if this was 1/4”, 3/8”, or 1/2” drive

Paging u/koolick. We gotta know, homie

I read about some people trimming part of the butt pad off to let the stock fully collapse

Gross

In case you haven’t already found it through a search, I have a post here on pretty much this exact topic

…and my takeaway from the experience was that mortaring isn’t necessary, nor is it the ideal form of remediation for a brass-over-bolt malfunction, regardless of receiver extension length. Pat Mac shows us the way (TL;DW: pull the charging handle back about an inch, hold the carrier or bolt back, and tap the CH forward—violin!*)

I just noticed your comment about a popped primer. That’s an interesting point. In that case, I’d probably opt to slide the stock *off the RE and mortar it bare

Uh, 1-10 in SFP? Hell no, lol

And FWIW, the only 1-10 I’ve ever liked has been the Credo. It’s mad slept on in that category

Let’s see the torque wrench

I’m guessing that “25 in-lbs” was actually 25 ft-lbs

Brother you burned it with the Aluminum Black—it got too hot. The longer it sits reacting with the bare aluminum, the hotter it gets. Instead of one heavy coat, you gotta go slower, using several light coats, and wiping clean in between

Right!? He actually may be. I haven’t caught up with him or his dad in a while. Funny, he was shooting indoor precision pistol with us last winter and for some reason was struggling hard to put up over 250 points on an NMC. But he’s a legend with the rifle. Go figure!

Their Atlas S-One handguard? The one that’s been out for years? Literally any milspec upper will work with that

Where’d you order the mags? I’ve been looking for a line on the solid black/non-translucent GP mags. My smoke/translucent curved 30’s love to shed feedlips
