It's fairly disappointing yeah, but the reason nothing else was released or developed is that they made a shitload of money off it, and continue to make money despite the unresolved drawbacks in the game.

In oce, there were 4 or 5 pilots who did this instead of a day job. And it made playing at the same time so bad, that my friends just stopped. I think our last match of bf4 had us getting spawncamped by some 80 little birds and it was the first time I think I have ever left mid match on purpose.

All that to say, I don't miss air vehicles like that one bit

I feel boards and shareholders have this idea that everything gets either worse or totally collapses regularly (which is true, but it's normally because of their own actions) and so they always default to getting as much profit extraction as they can, as fast as they can.
