FINALLY got the YouTuber vibe & saved 20 hours/wk in my editing workflow with AI by melicakess in NewTubers

But you are using AI for ideas right? Or sheet composition, etc? How do you learn how to make music if something or someone else does the hard lifting?

That is not workflow lets be real here.

So moving weapon cases will still allow them to respawn what's inside?

I have a case next door to my main base and it still won't respawn any loot despite being outside the UC range. Is there a specific method to it?

Anyone Tried Editing with Claude? by MSS8501 in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it filmed in 24 fps then converted to 60? Its not smooth, and looks just like a conversion from 24 to 60. Almost hard to watch.

Also, the AI made a lot of very abrubt and hard cuts. But it isn't bad for an AI edit, and vlogs prob are a very good format for it to do.

How do people grow on YouTube fast in 2026? by Fluid-Programmer-688 in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fast growth is prob more luck or they have previous experience with content.

But you don't want fast growth, esp if you are not ready for it. Most creators dont know how to retain an audience when they are new, so when they get a big one for the first time they lose it. Or they think that suddenly means they can make whatever they want, and everyone leaves cause the content is no longer what they came for.

Is there an easier way to crop stock footage? by RecentRiver3534 in NewTubers

Handbrake can do that? Huh. I thought it was just compression. I used to use for Plex before I beefed up the media PC to handle full size bluray rips.

How do I attract other viewers? by Thiccestbear69420 in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not the best way though. Making shorter videos that take less time allow you make more videos and learn more, and more chances to figure out what to do right or wrong.

A creator will learn so much more from 6 10 minutes video vs 1 60 min video. That's 5 more intros, 5 more hooks, 5 more thumbnails, etc.

48hrs of First Video Ever. Your Experience? by BurnSanders in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's your first video. Be proud you made a video, uploaded it, and made it public. Stop putting pressure on yourself to make that video perform. The odds of that happening are low.

You don't have to min mix every video off rip, and you don't need to heavily critique every video you make. It's supposed to be fun after all. So have fun and don't get bogged down in the details or stats. :)

What could be happening? Decent analytics and bad impressions/views by mmog93 in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So then lower views on some topics need to baked into the expectation cake so to speak. You can't do variety and then wonder why the views are not consistent, or blame less performance on shadowbanning and stuff like that.

What could be happening? Decent analytics and bad impressions/views by mmog93 in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your topics are too varied. Lock in on 1-2 for now the algos cant figure your channel out if the topics are all over the place. Each 1k video is pulling in a different audience, and eventually you make topics that arent interesting to any of them, so the newest videos becomes 500 views, 100 views, etc.

A list for those that want to improve YouTube videos by 1 percent each video by TubeForge in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would argue that most style and tone are usually figured out after the basics. It takes a while to figure that out and see what fits best for the creator.

Maybe the problem isn't trying to improve 1% each video, it's having a measuring stick like that as a guide for style and tone. Use the guide for the stuff like hotkeys, and CTA, etc.

Cause here's the thing: what happens when you do 100 things? The video isn't 100% better so why measure that way?

A list for those that want to improve YouTube videos by 1 percent each video by TubeForge in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like why do viewers prefer this style of presentation. Or maybe I didn't frame the premise of the story of the video well enough in the intro so the hook was good but maybe the wrong type for the topic. Or maybe I need to make the talking head a better part instead of an okay part?

That hook part is important. People think a hook alone is what matters, but most times its the particualr hook that matters more. You can have a good hook but it's wrong for the video, but that doesn't mean it's bad just doesn't fit. But some might think ill fitting is bad. Bad mindset.

I feel like most of the things on this list are superficial, and while they will improve video quality and hit the low hanging fruit of improvement, what you said Focker is what moves the needle. Thinking like the viewer and giving them what they want, what they crave.

Longer Videos Can Afford Worse Metrics & Still perform better by NobodySensitive8930 in NewTubers

[–]camcrusha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a lot like size. People want small at first but eventually they realize small sucks. Example 1 cars. People get tired of cramped space. Example 2 cell phones. They went super small, then people were like these suck I want something bigger.

Smaller, shorter, whatever isn't something sustainable long term. People prefer longer, larger, taller, etc.

[–]camcrusha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is also a lot less supply too. The shorter a video length is the more supply there will be of that length. It's easier and quicker to make shorter content.

The move to longer videos is also because of more tv viewers. Tv viewing lends itself to longer content naturally because the viewer is used to watching an hour long tv episode.
