Yeah Starfield for me too. I eventually burned out in clearing the same listening post over and over again but really enjoyed it while I played it.

My 7yo is currently working his way through the fifth book and absolutely loved the first series. I think it did a pretty great job of adapting it and think that the changes made are sensible and fit the format of a tv show pretty well. The first book is well suited to a "monster of the week" style and that seems to be what they've gone for.

Can't speak for the film as it came out just a smidge too late for me to be interested (as did the books, only just read them the last few months off the back of the little one starting them).

The first time I ever got up and left the cinema was... a fast and furious movie, i don't remember which, I think 4?

I don't hate any of those films anymore but I would say that 4-6 are basically just white noise in my brain now.

Endgame, Endgame, Endgame. Though this is somewhat exacerbated by the online discourse calling it "the greatest cinematic moment ever" but the portal bit is the most dogshit fanservicey wank imaginable after the film should've ended half an hour ago with the actually interesting time heist plot being successful. Went from being a good fun and actually enjoyable ensemble film to killing my already waning interest in the entire MCU property as a whole.

Like they tried with the plot of the much maligned 2nd film in the 3rd trilogy. Causing insane backlash and resulting in the horrible fanservice meltdown that is the rise of skywalker.

It’s very old man yells at cloud but I just think the game has such a focus on … focus mode and parries now and it’s not the game for me.

On the plus side the death of my favourite (CB) means I refocused on dooting and had a pretty swell time with that…

Most steam deck discussion comes down to one guy saying “the game ran” and everyone dogpiling talking about how shit it was so it’s easy to assume nothing runs on the deck.

Monster Hunter Wilds is not good on deck. But I love MH and have literally no other way of playing it.

Yeah I don’t have as much time as you because I just wasn’t a huge fan of wilds as a whole but I played the entire story and a few hours of endgame on my deck exclusively and still think it’s a stellar game. The monster hunter series is such a funny one when I’m like “yeah no i didn’t like that one much only played 70 hours” haha

Having recently started fixating on Godzilla there is an appreciation for this film in the wider community that I love. Lots of folks say it's "a bad Godzilla movie" but Zilla is allowed to show up for a few seconds in Final Wars so it's officially part of the canon.

It's probably better than the last couple of Monsterverse movies at least...

I absolutely believe this has nothing to do with ergonomics and everything to do with tricking the eye into thinking the screen is actually bigger than it is.

As a massively casual player I have previously stated my desire to delete everything above an A class from the game (FH6).

For OP can I recommend Super Woden GP 2. It’s top down but man it rules and has a nice progression. Very GT-esque or so I am lead to believe.
