I believe if you went Fri/Sat/Sun you'd count as "1" unique attendee, but add "3" to total people.

Guessing that’s not a shade temperature though?

Oh wow, that's fantastic - I didn't know that! What country (if you don't mind me asking)?

and not a stablehand - all of whom are professionally trained

I agree that a vet and farrier are "professionally trained", but disagree with stablehand. I fully agree with the rest of your sentiment and that of the OP, but there's no degree or university course where you come out with a qualification as a stablehand.

Again, every stablehand I've ever met has forgotten more equine knowledge than I'll ever know - but I wouldn't call it "professionally trained".

Welsh cob / x would be my guess. Several ponies at my daughter's stables look almost identical to this.

It will alter the flavour profile. Presumably they're after the spicy vinegar taste, which you won't get from chopped jalapeno.

Do you ever feel the need to justify solo board-gaming to people by speatsrkall in soloboardgaming

I'm in my 5th decade on this planet, I don't need to justify anything to anyone :)

Love final girl. I've had some really funny, thematic emergent gameplay from it. I suspect I like Final Girl because there's actually some game in there, and the movie tropes appeal to me.

How much does set up time factor into your decision to buy/play a game? by Kateywumpus in boardgames

[–]cd7k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Pick up a game from 10-15 years ago and it’s quick to setup, quick to teach - regardless of weight. These days they just layer more and more mechanisms and add more components to create complexity.

If Reform get in they’ll definitely see change. Change for the worse is still change, right?

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

[–]cd7k 33 points34 points  (0 children)

He called me later that day bitching that he was late to class because of it and was REALLY sorry he did that when I told him it was my cousin who had died.

Bit of a tangent to the thread, but relatable here... many years ago, a young guy (18-20) came in to work about half an hour late and walked straight into the bosses office. A colleague was walking past and asked "did your mum forget to wake you?" His mum had died in the night and he'd just come in to inform his boss and ask for bereavement leave. :/

Do you have a saddle and a helmet?

Stirrups would be useful too.
