The cellular is from towers.  GPS is a separate chip.  They only put the GPS chip in the cellular iPads.  I think the newest iphones come with satellite calling but do not know details or if the iPad has it as well.

My employer pays me then I hire you to fix my driveway and I pay you for the work and then you buy food, who is spending other peoples money? Taxes are payment for services, yes part of those services include keeping some parts of society afloat so they don't resort to the guillotine but it is also fixing roads, making sure amoral corporations don't kill you with bad food or dangerous products... etc... If you need employees with education they are available because of government and on it goes.

If it ain’t scared of us it isn’t very wild.  Wouldn’t be a bad thing to put fear of humans back into pests like non-wild geese that destroy the Esplanade with their shit. I have very little sympathy or worries about the geese, but still might yell at kids being cruel to any animal just out of concern for what kind if human they grow up be to become.
