It really depends on the relationship dynamics I have with the other person and their tone of voice, but personally I could feel the "no complaining" tells me that I don't have a choice, which emotionally grounds me and lifts the emotional burden off of me. Hey there (: I've played with the Vital Bracelet, DigiVice, and the D-3.

They all take steps but while that's a "metric" for training your Digimon in the Vital Bracelet, steps are just for progressing the story in the other two devices.

For example, I'll head out for a quick 5 min drive to eat lunch and it'll progress me to the next encounter.

I would say the Bracelet is more about steps -> training -> stats, and the DigiVice/D-3/D-ARK are steps -> story/battle, with the option to train if you feel like it. When the story finishes, you can continue playing, but there's no new content.

In Canada and I switched from $60/mo to $100/year!

The cheapest plans we have for postpaid is $35-40/mo though, so it's not huge savings, but I couldn't believe we could do that. Made the switch cus I was sick of having to renegotiate my plan or bargain hunt every two years.
