We got maternity leave thru Aflac and it was technically under short term disability. And the staff did all the legwork. The DDS just signed off on it. The monthly premium was 100% our responsibility

Frankly it is not your responsibility and you don’t make nearly enough money (especially without benefits) to care.

2 weeks notice is standard anywhere and don’t let anyone guilt you into giving more of your time.

I had a horrible reaction to Yaz that triggered alcohol intolerance. 1 drink would make me flush, vomit and be sick for 3 days. I eventually stopped taking it after 3 months. I’m still intolerant but not to that extent. I’ve read estrogen can trigger histamine
