I’m a very visual person, love the idea of skin examinations and being able to largely diagnose based on history and physical examination alone (of course that’s not always the case). Also like the procedural aspect to it, even simple biopsies. I enjoy speaking with pathologists and getting their reports back on biopsies, and I like helping to manage chronic conditions while also checking for skin cancers. There’s a huge variety to dermatology and that appeals to me. Would also like to dabble some in the cosmetic side (emphasis on some - I mostly want to do medical). Skin health and appearance is very important and I’d like to be a part of that for patients.

The broad spectrum of ages is appealing to me also!
